Spanning the Dakrong River in Quang Tri Province, the historical Dakrong Bridge served as a vital transit point and a key starting nexus for the legendary Ho Chi Minh Trail during the Vietnam War. The original wartime bridge and its immediate successors facilitated crucial troop and supply movements toward the southern battlefields. Today, the modern cable-stayed bridge stands as a prominent historical landmark and scenic gateway within the rugged western mountains of Quang Tri.
