Located in northern side of Hai Van Pass (Hue’s side or Lang Co side), Don Ca Arch Bridge is the largest bridge on the Da Nang-Hue railway. In Vietnamese, Don Ca means ‘main station’ or ‘big station’. Don Ca Arch Bridge takes its name from the French/American station nearby.

How to Get to Don Ca Arch Bridge
Firstly, Don Ca Arch Bridge is located in Hai Van Pass, therefore visitors need to go to this mountain pass first. The distance from Da Nang-Hoi An is 40-70km, and from Hue city center is roughly 75km. Two most popular ways to get there are renting a private car and riding the motorbike.
In Hai Van Pass, please come to this spot on the map: 16°12’12.6″N 108°06’44.4″E (from Da Nang/Hoi An, visitors will have to drive to the top of the pass and then go downhill to find it). After that, continue riding the motorbike along the cement road to get down to the railway. If go by car, please walk. To find the arch bridge, leave the bike at the security booth by the railway and then walk along the track for 1km.
Because of closing to the public and difficult accessibility, Don Ca Arch Bridge is unpopular in tours in the area. Visitors often must go on their own if want to visit.
