The river is 205-kilometers-long and Hoi An is near its meeting place with the sea, Cua Dai estuary. In Vietnamese language, its name can be understood to be ‘autumn river’. Things to See & Do in Moonlight Bridge of Hoi An
The Moonlight Bridge is the longest and the biggest walking bridge across the Thu Bon River in Hoi An. It provides the quickest access from the Hoi An Ancient Town to the Hoi An Memories Land (formerly Hoi An Impression Theme Park, Hoi An Memories Resort & Spa). It’s opened in April 2022, to serve for the opening ceremony of the National Tourism Year 2022 in the province (the host).

The best night to come here is full moon night when the scenery is just spectacular and romantic. Yes, there’re many photo opportunities. The middle section of the bridge is glass-bottomed (but not fully), so for a more interesting walk, visitors should try to go this lane to look down the river.
When coming to the other side of the bridge (from the town’s side), visitors need to turn right and then turn left to see the main entrance of the Hoi An Impression Theme Park. Here, will see buildings portraying Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese cultures, beautiful gardens and lakes, shops, restaurants (the best one is the bamboo restaurant), street food stalls, coffee shops, and watch mini shows. Of course, the best part of the park is Hoi An Memories Show that lasts from 8 pm to 9 pm. It’s the largest outdoor art visual performance in Vietnam. See more information & details
After watching the show or visiting the park, visitors can walk back to the Moonlight Bridge by the same way. On the opposite bank of the river, there are a couple of Vietnamese restaurants selling cold beers and delicious food to eat, to chill or end the night.
