Toc Tien Waterfall Station is one of cable car stations in Ba Na Hills, a famous theme park in Da Nang Vietnam. It’s named after Toc Tien Waterfall (700 meters tall), the most beautiful waterfall in the area. In Vietnamese, it means ‘the Hair of Fairy Lady’.
In the history, Toc Tien Waterfall Station is the second oldest station in Ba Na Hills (after Suoi Mo Station). It’s opened on 29th March 2013 to celebrate the the 39th Da Nang’s Liberation Day anniversary. Here, the cable car route is 5,771 meters (approximately 3,58 miles), making it the longest cable car across the world during its opening year. In the beginning of the ride, passengers will see Toc Tien Waterfall from above. The arrival station is L’Indochine Station that lies in the heart of the French Village. For that reason, it’s commonly known as the French Village cable car. This station is named after Indochina, the colony of French people which includes Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.
In Toc Tien Waterfall Station, there is the front desk of Mercure Hotel, the only hotel in Ba Na Hills at the moment. If walk pass by this station, visitors will find Champa Station, the highest departure cable car station at Ba Na Hills. From here, the cable car takes passengers to Taiga Station in the French Village. How to Get to Toc Tien Waterfall Station
Toc Tien Waterfall Station is one of cable car stations in Ba Na Hills, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang Vietnam. This is the highest/furthest cable car station in the park.
From Da Nang or Hoi An, visitors can take a car/minivan/bus or ride the motorbike. If going by car, the drive is 40-60 mins from Da Nang city center and over 1 hour from Hoi An. To save a bit, riding a motorbike is a good option.
From Ba Na Hills entrance, visitors need to go through the Time Gate, and then walk into the Big Gate behind it. After that, take the escalator to the left to go up, turn left and go through the Memory Garden, and turn left, go along the covered walkway with paintings about Hoi An. Near the Hoi An Station, take the escalator to go upstairs and then keep going uphill until seeing Toc Tien Waterfall Station.
