‘Sun KraftBeer’ is a brand of premium craft beer debuted on 7th July 2024 at Ba Na Hills. It’s produced from the Ba Na Brew House, the highest brewery in Vietnam (at an altitude of 1,400 meters above the sea level), by the award-winning recipe from Camba Bavaria. This is a Germany company which has its long history and global reputation from innovative approach to brewing. Today, it makes a wide range of beer, including traditional Bavarian styles to international styles.
At Ba Na Hills, German brew masters use good-quality ingredients imported from Germany and the United States, particularly barleys and hops. Here they are:
- Barleys (malts): Pilsner, Munich, caramel malts, roasted malts
- Hops: Summit, Tradition, Tettnanger, Citra, Simcoe, Centennial, Chinook
- Yeast: Bavarian lager, American ale

Sun Craft Beer Factory at Ba Na Hills
Sun Craft Beer Factory where Sun KraftBeer is produced, is known as ‘Ba Na Brew House’. This is the largest brewery in Vietnam (at an elevation of 1,400 meters). It’s opened on 7th July 2024, and has 7 stories with large fermentation tanks and other brewing facilities, restaurants, bars, exhibitions, and dining areas. Ba Na Hills Beer Festival (The Oktoberfest of Vietnam)
In 2025, Ba Na Hills Beer Festival (or Sun KraftBeer Festival) takes place from June to end of August. Followed by, there are the Golden Autumn Festival in September and October, and the Festival of Lights in November and December.
During the Beer Festival, each adult visitor has 2-4 free beer vouchers. It’s needed to access Ba Na Sun Craft Beer Factory to exchange and try then. On many days, not all of 6 flavors are available. If want to get more beer, it’s possible to buy in 1901 Restaurant (within Ba Na Brew House), Beer Plaza, and stations around the festival zone. From Monday to Friday, those who buy 5 beers (500 ml each), will receive 1 free beer. On Saturday and Sunday, buy 3 get 1.
