What to Expect in Mang Den Pass?
At an elevation of 1,200-1,400 meters, Mang Den Pass is a 18-kilometers-long mountain pass on Highway QL24 (which connects Kon Tum and Quang Ngai cities). It’s known as the gateway to Mang Den, one of the most famous tourist towns in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. This pass is started from Dak Rve Town (to the west) and it ends at the welcome sign of Mang Den town.
Mang Den Pass is famous for beautiful views to dense pine forests, rolling hills, deep valleys, winding rivers as well as coffee and tapioca farms. Along it, visitors can find a couple of pretty waterfalls and some coffee shops.
Currently, there are 2 routes on Mang Den Pass, and the new road was constructed in 2015 to reduce traffic accidents.

How to Get to Mang Den Pass
Mang Den Pass is in Mang Den, Kon Tum (today Quang Ngai). It’s 4 kilometers away from the town center, and nearly 60 kilometers from Kon Tum city center.
The most popular ways to go from Mang Den town to Mang Den Pass are taking a car/bus and riding the motorbike. From anywhere in the town, go along QL24 or Pham Van Dong Road (towards the south) to see the welcome sign of Mang Den. After that, go straight if want to explore the old pass road or turn right to see the new pass road.
