Opening Hours of Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc

Everyday, Kiss Bridge at Phu Quoc will open from 7:00 am to 11:00 pm. However, its wings have different opening hours:

+ South wing (near Kiss of the Sea show, Hon Thom cable car): 7:00 am to 8:40 pm, and 9:45 to 11:00 pm

+ North wing (near Vui Fest Bazaar): 7:00 am to 11:00 pm

Between 8:40 and 9:45 pm, during Kiss of the Sea show and its fireworks performance, the north wing of Kiss Bridge is closed. Visitors can watch fireworks from the north wing from 9:30 to 9:45 pm.

Ticket price of Kiss Bridge at Phu Quoc will be:

– 7:00 am to 4:00 pm: 50,000 VND for visitors above 1 meter, free for visitors under 1 meter

– 4:00 to 7:00 pm: 100,000 VND for visitors above 1 meter, free for visitors under 1 meter (the best time of the day)

History & Story of Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc

The Kiss Bridge at Phu Quoc was constructed from 13rd May 2021 to late 2022. The project was conceived by Sun Group, a major Vietnamese real estate developer, with the aim of creating a unique tourist attraction that would stand out globally. Location of this iconic bridge is the wave barrier which protects the Sunset Town against strong waves and storm surges. It’s a massive entertainment and tourism complex with the charm and romance of a Mediterranean coastal town, with a focus on art, culture, and spectacular sunset views.

Designer of the Kiss Bridge at Phu Quoc is renowned Italian architect Marco Casamonti (man). Casamonti’s work is known for its respect for context, materiality, and the integration of architecture with the environment. Some of his notable works include: the Antinori Winery in Tuscany (Italy) and the Alban Tower in Tirana (Albania). After Kiss Bridge, the next construction project between the Sun Group and him is the amazing wine cellar and restaurant at top of Ba Na Hills (not completed yet).

On 22nd December 2023, Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc was officially opened to public. Meanwhile, the Kiss of the Sea show with 7-minute-long fireworks performance, La Festa Phu Quoc – Curio Collection by Hilton, and Vui Fest Bazaar Night Market within Sunset Town are also introduced for the first time. These new attractions are hoped to boost tourism in southern Phu Quoc island.

The design of Kiss Bridge at Phu Quoc draws inspiration from two key sources:

+ Vietnamese folk: ancient Vietnamese folk tale of Nguu Lang and Chuc Nu (The Weaver Girl and the Cowherd). The story tells of two lovers separated by a river who could only meet once a year on a bridge formed by magpies. The two separate spans of the Kiss Bridge symbolize the longing of these lovers and their eventual, romantic meeting.

+ Western art: Marco Casamonti took inspiration from Michelangelo’s famous fresco, “The Creation of Adam,” where God’s finger and Adam’s finger almost touch.

Furthermore, every January 1st, the sunset will be right between the two heads of Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc, making this place one of the most beautiful sunset viewing spots in Vietnam.

At Kiss Bridge Phu Quoc, there is only one restaurant today: Bacio Restaurant (north wing). It opens from 2:00 to 10:00 pm everyday, and serves Italian and Vietnamese dishes. Here, visitors can find lots of seats, including both indoor and outdoor seats. Along its balconies, there is the view to the blue sea and brilliant sunset on one side, and the view to spectacular Mediterranean-style Sunset Town and colorful fireworks on the other side. How to Get to Kiss Bridge in Phu Quoc Sunset Town

Kiss Bridge (Cau Hon) is located within Sunset Town, An Thoi, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.

Within the Sunset Town, the distance to Kiss Bridge is 1 to 2 kilometers. Visitors can walk, cycle, take an electric buggy/car or taxi, or ride the motorbike. Groups can hire a shuttle bus to tour around the town to save time and energy, and its price won’t be too expensive.

If go to Sunset Town from other places in An Thoi (southern Phu Quoc), the distance is 5-7 kilometers. Visitors can use personal vehicles (motorbike, bike, car) or take a private car/bus/taxi.

From Khem Beach, visitors can take Hon Thom shuttle bus to reach Sunset Town. After being dropped off at Anh Duong cable car station, walk to the clock tower.

From Duong Dong town, the capital of Phu Quoc Island, the distance to Sunset Town will be 25-30 kilometers. The quickest transport is by private taxi/car/bus, and the cheapest transport is by motorbike (self driving) or Hon Thom shuttle bus

From the Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), the distance to Sunset Town is nearly 20 kilometers. The quickest way to get there is taking a private car/bus, and the drive will be around 40 minutes long. It’s possible for the car/bus dropping visitors off at the clock tower.

From northern Phu Quoc, the distance to Sunset Town is 40-50 kilometers. The quickest way to get there is taking a private car/bus, and the drive will be around 1 hour long. It’s possible for the car/bus dropping visitors off at the clock tower.

There is no public transportation to Sunset Town from Phu Quoc.
