Getting to Sun World Ba Na Hills
Sun World Ba Na Hills is about 25 kilometers away from the city center of Da Nang and 40 kilometers away from Hoi An. To get there, popular ways are taking a private roundtrip transport car/bus or riding the motorbike or taking a shared shuttle bus. Going from Parking Lot to Main Entrance
Car/Bus Parking Lots
At Ba Na Hills, there are 3 parking lots:
+ Parking Lot 1 (in the front of the main entrance): for car/van/bus coming earlier than 8:00 am, and van/bus during park’s opening hours
+ Parking Lot 2 & 3: for car/bus coming in the midday and onwards, or on busy days. From these parking lots, visitors need to get a free shuttle bus to reach the main entrance of the park (the bus will go when it’s full or nearly full, and it’s definitely air-conditioned). The transfer is only 5-10 minutes long.

Motorbike Parking Lot
At Ba Na Hills, motorbike parking lot will be located near the main entrance. From Da Nang or Hoi An, visitors need to follow Ba Na – Suoi Mo Road (towards the west) to reach the theme park. It lies in the end of this road, to the left. There are many signs along the way, so do not worry!
From the motorbike parking lot, walk across the road and then downhill (along the covered path). Visitors will see ticket counters, luggage storage, toilet, shops,…quickly then.

The Hoi An Station is popularly known by international visitors today because the cable cars from here will go directly to Golden Hands Bridge, the most stunning attraction in the park. In other words, the shortest/quickest cable car ride to the bridge boards from Hoi An Station (or Hoi An 1 Station). From 8 am to 3/4 pm, here are directions to Hoi An Station from the main entrance:
- Walk through the Time Gate (or one of bridges with an architecture inspired by Japanese Bridge in Hoi An)
- Go into the Big Gate with ‘Sun World Ba Na Hills’ sign
- Go up by stairs or escalator to the right (to Starbucks Coffee)
- Turn left, walk through the Memory Garden
- Turn left and walk along the covered pathway (with painted ceilings portraying Hoi An Old Town)
- Turn left at the end of the covered pathway
*During the rain, the path through the Memory Garden will be closed because it’s slippery. By that, from Starbucks Coffee, visitors need to go straight and then follow the covered pathway to the cable car station.
After 3/4 pm, here are directions to Hoi An Station from the main entrance:

The Suoi Mo Station is known as the oldest cable car station at Ba Na Hills. The Toc Tien Waterfall Station is known as one of the highest cable car stations at Ba Na Hills. The cable car from here will go directly to French Village, the most romantic place in the park (that’s why it’s called ‘French Village cable car’).
