On the other side of Amalfi Road from Le Festa Square, the Dragon Stairs (Thang Rong) is a popular Instagrammable spot in Sunset Town Phu Quoc. It’s well known for colorful, flower-filled, steep and winding stairs descending from Milan Road (or from east to west), with 4 hairpin turns. Its style is inspired by Lombard Street in San Francisco city in the United States, the crookedest street in the world and built in 1922. Today, the stairs are decorated with red and/or white bougainvillea.
Because cars and wheel chairs can not move on the Dragon Stairs, visitors need to climb if want to see and take photos. The busiest point will be the bottom of the stairs, on the Amalfi Road, especially during the sunset time.
