What to Expect in Beer Plaza at Ba Na Hills?
The Beer Plaza is an open and stone-paved square in the French Village of Ba Na Hills, a well-known theme park in Da Nang Vietnam. It’s surrounded by buildings of Mercure hotel (the only hotel in the park), the Medieval Fair (which has fun-filled amusement rides and award-winning games), Helios Waterfall (which as impressive yellow-bronze statues of Greek gods and goddesses) and Ba Na Brew House. The brewery is constructed in 2024 to manufacture good-quality beers by German techniques.
In the middle of the Beer Plaza, there are a golden restaurant in shape of a wine barrel and a big statue of King Gambinus. He stands and holds a cup of beer to cheer with visitors. In Europe, he is a legendary culture hero celebrated as an icon of beer and brewing. Many people come here to take a picture. After shows/performances, European dancers will stand at this spot to photograph with happy watchers.
From morning to sunset, on the Beer Plaza, visitors will see a food court which has many large wooden tables next to food and beverage stalls (selling sausages, grilled chicken/beef/lamb skewers, breads, roasting duck/pork, pizza,…). Performances of singing, dancing or even circus/magic by artists coming from the rest of the world, will be available several times a day. Please check the schedule on the board put on the square in your day of visit.
Like anywhere in Ba Na Hills (at elevation of 1,400 meters), it’s cool, breezy, and unpolluted at the Beer Plaza. It absolutely has the best outdoor seats for eating/drinking in the park. In addition to a comfortable temperature, the atmosphere here is also vibrant thanks to groups of tourists coming in/out and exciting music or shows.
If do not have a buffet, the food court of Beer Plaza is one of the best places to eat.
At night, the Beer Plaza becomes the most happening place in whole Ba Na Hills. The Beer Plaza Restaurant or 1901 Restaurant of Ba Na Brew House, serve a buffet with different Vietnamese and western dishes, craft beers, live music from international boy bands with English songs as well as sexy dances from groups of girls. Outside, the food court still caters delicious barbecues, sausages, breads, roasting meats,… Born fire may be held at the Beer Plaza when many people stay overnight in the mountain (so it may be easy to see in holidays or weekend days).

Tips to Visit Beer Plaza at Ba Na Hills
– In the dry season, from February to the end of August, visitors should bring sun cream, hat/cap/umbrella, sun glasses, and bottles of water to drink.
– In the rainy season, from September to January, visitors should bring rain poncho/jacket or umbrella, sandals or waterproof shoes. Don’t forget to check the weather forecast usually when traveling during this period.

How to Get to Beer Plaza at Ba Na Hills
The Beer Plaza is located in the French Village at Ba Na Hills, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang Vietnam. The distance to this park from Da Nang city center is nearly 30 kilometers and from Hoi An is around 50 kilometers.
From Da Nang or Hoi An, visitors can take a car/minivan/bus or ride the motorbike to Ba Na Hills. If going by car, the drive is 40-60 mins from Da Nang city center and over 1 hour from Hoi An. To save a bit, riding a motorbike is a good option.
In Ba Na Hills, the quickest cable car to the Beer Plaza is from the Toc Tien Waterfall Station or Champa Station. The ride from here is 15-20 minutes long. Visitors will arrive at L’Indochine Station or Taiga Station and then can walk to Beer Plaza. From L’Indochine Station, turn right, follow the path to the right of Saint Denis Church, and turn right after seeing the octagonal pavilion. From Taiga Station, turn left and go downhill to see the Beer Plaza.
If take the cable car from Hoi An Station, visitors will land at Golden Hands Bridge. From here, find the shortest/quickest way to the Bordeaux Station and then take the cable car to Louvre Station in the French Village.
If take the cable car from Suoi Mo Station, visitors will arrive at the Ba Na Station. To go to the Beer Plaza, it’s needed to take the funicular train nearby to reach the hilltop OR take the cable car from Debay Station. If choose the first way, find Bordeaux Station near the Golden Hands Bridge and then take the cable car to Louvre Station in the French Village. The second way is easier. After arriving at the Morin Station, go downstairs and turn right, follow the path to the right of Saint Denis Church, and turn right after seeing the octagonal pavilion.
