The Medieval Fair is an attraction in Ba Na Hills, Da Nang Vietnam. It’s near the Taiga Station, one of upper cable car stations in the park. If take the cable car from the Champa Station (the highest station), visitors will arrive at this place.
Here are the best things to see/do in the Medieval Fair at Ba Na Hills:
– Swing du Fantasie (next to the Beer Plaza and Taiga restaurant): one of the best amusement rides in Ba Na Hills park. Children from 1 to 1,3 meters need to go with parents, and smaller kids are not allowed to participate. It’s free of charge. In the afternoon, visitors often queue up here but it’s not too long. – Spinning HOPS flowers (near Beer Plaza): an amusement ride with 12 hops-like car spinning 28 times every minute. Children from 1 to 1,3 meters will need to go with parents. It’s free of charge.
– Carousel du Soleil (on the main road by the Taiga Station): an amusement ride for all family members and ages. Children under 1,2 meters will need to go with parents. It’s free of charge.
– Winning-award games (along the main road by Taiga Station): have fun at different stalls and receive big teddies if win. The price is from 50,000 VND per time, and not included in Ba Na Hills entrance ticket.
– Taiga restaurant: serving the international buffet which has over 90 dishes selected from western and Vietnamese cuisines. While exploring the French Village, this is a good stop for lunch. The price is 380,000 VND each adult and children above 1,4 meters (2025).

Tips to Visit Medieval Fair at Ba Na Hills
– In the dry season, from February to the end of August, visitors should bring sun cream, hat/cap/umbrella, sun glasses, and bottles of water to drink.

How to Get to Medieval Fair at Ba Na Hills
The Beer Plaza is located in the French Village at Ba Na Hills, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang Vietnam. It’s Taiga cable car station.
From Da Nang or Hoi An, visitors can take a car/minivan/bus or ride the motorbike. If going by car, the drive is 40-60 mins from Da Nang city center and over 1 hour from Hoi An. To save a bit, riding a motorbike is a good option.
In Ba Na Hills, the quickest cable car to the Medieval Fair is from the Champa Station. The ride from here is 20-30 minutes. Visitors will arrive at Taiga Station and then walk outside to see the Medieval Fair.
If take the cable car from Thac Toc Tien Station, visitors will land at L’Indochine Station in the French Village. From here, there are two ways to go to the Medieval Fair: walking uphill by the road to the left of Saint Denis Church, and walking through the French Village by the road to the right of the Saint Denis Church.
If take the cable car from the Hoi An Station, after visiting Golden Bridge/Le Jardin d’Amour/Linh Ung Pagoda, find the Bordeaux Station near the Golden Bridge to take the cable car to the Louvre Station. From here, find the quickest way to Saint Denis Church and then go to the Medieval Fair by one of roads next to it.
Sometimes visitors will go up to Ba Na Hills by the cable car from Suoi Mo Station. After landing, it’s needed to come to nearby D’Amour Station to take the funicular ride to reach the hilltop. This mountain train ride is not long. When it finishes, go outside and follow the path on the left side, to the Golden Bridge. From here, go upstairs by escalator or staircase to Bordeaux Station to take the cable car from there. This cable car will land at Louvre Station. From here, find the quickest way to Saint Denis Church and then go to the Medieval Fair by one of roads next to it.
If available, from the Ba Na Station, walk to Debay Station to take the cable car to the Morin Station. Go upstairs and leave the building to see the Saint Denis Church. From here, find the quickest way to Saint Denis Church and then go to the Medieval Fair by one of roads next to it.
