This evening walking food tour takes you to vibrant night markets of Hoi An and then try different local dishes. The first one is Nguyen Hoang night market, the biggest night market in the Old Town, which has over 150 street food stalls, souvenir and lantern shops. The another one is Hoi An Central Market, the oldest market in town. Here, keep tasting and learning about local cuisine. Besides markets, this tour also includes a relaxing boat ride on the river to take photos and release the lanterns.

Nguyen Hoang Night Market

On a 300-meters-long pedestrian street, Nguyen Hoang Night Market is the biggest night market in Hoi An. It has over 150 stalls selling a variety of street food, local food, and souvenirs. Its colorful lantern shops attract lots of visitors coming to take beautiful pictures. See more details

In Nguyen Hoang Night Market, visitors have the chance to try:

Cao Lau (noodles): a noodle dish found only in Hoi An which shows a mix between Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese cuisines. Every ingredient the locals use to make it, has its own story. See more details

Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich): a crunchy bread filled with meats, pork liver pate, fresh herbs, raw vegetables and sauces. Local Banh Mi in Hoi An is better than other variations in Vietnam, and even may be most delicious. See more details

Lantern Boat Ride on Hoai River

Hoi An Riverside Street

At night, roads around Hoi An Central Market become food and souvenir streets. Here, visitors can find nearly every famous local dishes to try and souvenirs to buy. Compared to the first market, this place is quieter because lesser known. See more details

What to bring/wear

Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash. 

To visit the temples, please wear respectively. In other words, make sure that the pants cover the upper knees and the shirt covers the navel, shoulders, armpits.
