Can You Stay in Ba Na Hills Vietnam?

Today, visitors can stay overnight in Ba Na Hills, Da Nang Vietnam. There are some hotels with hundreds of rooms available to book too (see more information below).

Back to the history, in the 20th century, French people discovered and established a hill station in Ba Na Mountain (Chua Mountain, King Mountain), at elevation of 1,400 meters and above. Here, there are numerous constructions built, such as villas, hotels, post offices, wine cellar, flower gardens,… and the roads leading to them from Da Nang city. In 1945, Vietnamese struggle for independence led to abandonment of Ba Na Hills. Until 2009, when the first cable car reaching it was opened, its role as a ‘tourist attraction’ was revived. After that, Sun Group – the owner of the park added a number of hotels here.

Hotels in Ba Na Hills are the highest hotels in Da Nang Vietnam. To get there, travelers need to travel by cable cars.

Is It Worth Staying Overnight in Ba Na Hills?

Staying overnight at Ba Na Hills is totally worth it. Here are top reasons:

– The weather in Ba Na Hills at night is absolutely great, especially during hot months (April to September). Temperature in this place is always lower than the cities, and after the sunset, it’s around 15-19°C (because of its elevation of 1,480 meters). The air here is extremely fresh because it’s in the middle of primitive forests.

– Hotel guests will have more time to discover Ba Na Hills which has lots of places to see and activities to do. Spending a day here may be not enough if without a guide telling how to do. Families with kids will enjoy an unlimited budget of time together, and children can play freely.

– Visitors who stay overnight in Ba Na Hills, will have the chance to take the earliest cable car to Golden Hands Bridge. At that time, there is no crowds and light is absolutely perfect to take pictures/videos.

– Visitors who stay overnight in Ba Na Hills, can take a car directly to the cable car station (no walking) and then won’t need to queue for the cable car when check in/check out. This is a really good deal to avoid the crowds in the park.

– Nightlife in Ba Na Hills is stunning and atmospheric. Hotel guests can see vibrant activities and dancing performances, live music from boy bands, beer festival, born fire, and so much more. Wandering around the park in the evening is also fantastic due to romantic and dreamy beauty from lights, antique architectures and sometimes the fog.

– Visitors who love watching sunrise and/or sunset have opportunity if book the hotel at Ba Na Hills.

– Visitors who stay overnight in Ba Na Hills, will have a discount for entry tickets (about 20-25% off at the moment).
