Better to Know about Lava Train at Ba Na Hills
– Location: Mystery Well Station (within Arapang Restaurant’s building) and Dragon Den Station (within Lunar Castle), Ba Na Hills

The Lava Train takes visitors from the Sun Kingdom to the Moon Kingdom (and vice versa), two themed areas in Ba Na Hills. If the Moon Kingdom is home to Lunar Castle, new wine cellar,…, the Sun Kingdom lies on the other side of the park. It has Solar Castle, French Village, Fantasy Park, Medieval Fair, Beer Plaza,… It provides the fastest ride from a kingdom to another.
Inside the Lava Train, there are about 10 seats for earliest comers, seniors, kids, pregnant and disabilities. Other passengers have to stand.
During 2-minute ride by Lava Train, passengers will see an awe-inspiring view to mountain ranges and rivers, plus cool air from surrounding forests. Introduction about the destination (Moon Kingdom or Sun Kingdom) will be spoken in Vietnamese and English.
In late afternoon, if take the last ride at Lava Train, visitors need to return by walking. Go upstairs and then exit the Lunar Castle to see the path to other places in the park (Atlas Statue, Eclipse Plaza, Lava Castle, Lava Road, French Village, Fantasy Park,…).
Riding the Lava Train is the easiest way to reach the Lunar Castle. From the arrival station, visitors need to go upstairs to watch fascinating cinematic videos at 4D Moon Junction Theater and Flying Eyes Theater. At the top of the castle, some amazing shows will occur.

How to Get to Lava Train at Ba Na Hills
Mystery Well Station
Located in the ‘Sun Kingdom’, the Mystery Well Station lies on the lowest floor of Arapang building. From other places in Ba Na Hills, visitors can get to it by walking or walking + cable car. Its name in Vietnamese is Ga Gieng Than.
In the French Village, the Mystery Well Station is near Little Tokyo restaurant, Kavkaz Restaurant, Pop Mart, Louvre Station, Noel Plaza,… At Arapang building, use elevator or escalator to go downstairs to the lowest floor to see Mystery Well Station.
From Golden Bridge, the quickest way to reach Mystery Well Station is taking the cable car at Bordeaux Station. From the bridge, climb the stairs near Starbucks to see the station. After landing at Louvre Station, go straight ahead to leave the building and then look to the left to see Arapang building. Use elevator or escalator to go downstairs to the lowest floor to see Mystery Well Station.
From Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens/Debay Wine Cellar/Giant Buddha/Linh Ung Pagoda, the quickest way to reach Mystery Well Station is taking the cable car at Debay Station. From these places, go uphill to find Le Jardin Station, and then take the funicular from here to go downhill (D’Amour Station). Next, walk to nearby Debay Station, take the cable car to Morin Station. Leave the building, go downstairs, turn left, go across the square to the end, and then look to the right to see Arapang building. Use elevator or escalator to go downstairs to the lowest floor to see Mystery Well Station.

Dragon Den Station
Located in the Moon Kingdom, the Dragon Den Station lies on the lowest floor of the Lunar Castle. From other places in Ba Na Hills, visitors can get to it by walking or walking + cable car. Its name in Vietnamese is Ga Hang Rong.
If take the cable car from Hoi An 2 Station at the base of the hills, from the arrival station – Moon Kingdom Station, visitors can walk to the Lunar Castle. Here, use elevator or escalator to go downstairs to the lowest floor to see Dragon Den Station.
From other places in Ba Na Hills (mountaintop section), visitors can walk to Lunar Castle and then go to Dragon Den Station for Lava Train (and return). Firstly, find the shortest way to Eclipse Plaza (near Louvre Station). After that, follow the path to the right of Lava Castle (Pink Castle) to go downhill and then across the gardens to see Lunar Castle. Here, use elevator or escalator to go downstairs to the lowest floor to see Dragon Den Station.
