Golden Hands Bridge is in Sun World Ba Na Hills, an amusement park in Da Nang city, central Vietnam. This park is on the top of Nui Chua Mountain (or King Mountain). Its address is An Son Village, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang. Inside the park, the bridge is close to Marseille Station. Flights from Hue to Da Nang

Although both Hue and Da Nang have an airport, there is no flight between these cities because of too short distance (only 100 kilometers). Meaning that travelers can not travel to Da Nang by airplane from Hue. Taking a road vehicle is a must.

Private Car/Bus from Hue to Golden Bridge/Ba Na Hills

To make your trip to Ba Na Hills from Hue city flexible, let’s consider booking a private car/bus (or better, a private tour). The distance is around 100 kilometers, so it takes about 2 hour. The drive is longer if like to see Hai Van Pass on the way (it’s good to spend 30 minutes here for sightseeing and having a break). Because your transfer is private, the driver can wait at Ba Na Hills until you finish visiting.

After visiting Golden Hands Bridge and Ba Na Hills, visitors need to spend around 1 hour to go to the hotel in Da Nang or Hoi An city.

Our thoughts: Visitors need around 1/2 day to reach and visit the Golden Hands Bridge. Therefore, we recommend taking a train which arrives at Da Nang in the early morning to have as much time as possible, to do everything with an unhurried pace. Meaning that the train will leave Hanoi the day before. From February to September (the dry season), the weather is good. So, visitors can visit anytime as long as it’s still bright. From October to January, it rains frequently and heavily, especially in high mountains like Ba Na Hills. To see the hand bridge clearly (without rain/fog/cloud), visitors may need to stay some days in the area and then choose the best day to see it. Once again, check the weather forecast in advance!

Hue to Da Nang by Train

Both Hue city and Da Nang are on Vietnam’s north-south railway (Vietnamese: Duong sat Bac Nam). Therefore, visitors can go from Hanoi to Da Nang by train. Duration of the train ride is about 4 hours. It’s longer than many people think because the train must climb up to rugged Hai Van Pass on the way.

In Hue city center, visitors need to go to the Hue Railway Station at 02 Bui Thi Xuan Street, Thuan Hoa district (near the west end of Le Loi Street on the south bank of the Perfume River). It’s located right in the city downtown and not too far away from areas where tourists often stay overnight. To get there, all road vehicles are convenient. Walking is also possible.

During the long train ride from Hue city center to Da Nang, food and drink are all served. Visitors can choose a bunker bed to lie down, or just a seat (chair) in an air-conditioned coach. The bed price is higher, however to see/photograph the beautiful scenery on the way, many people like sitting. Make sure that you reserve or buy the tickets early and take a seat on the left side (to easier view the landscape). See more information & details

In Da Nang, the train will arrive at the Da Nang Railway Station (the nearest train station to Golden Bridge). Like the airport, it lies within the city centre too, therefore it’s convenient to pick up here as well as find local restaurants and shops to eat/buy. Visitors will spend about 45 minutes to go to Ba Na Hills where the Golden Hands Bridge is located. Contact us by +84968009827 (hotline/whatsapp/line/zalo) to book a transfer from Da Nang Train Station.

If have a layover (will take a train or flight to another city later) or plan to go to Hoi An, visitors can use luggage storage service at Ba Na Hills. It’s 100% free and reliable! The storage room is next to the ticket counter at the main entrance.

Hue to Ba Na Hills by Motorbike

To go from Hue city to Da Nang or Hoi An, many travelers like a motorbike ride. If do not want to ride, it’s easy to find a local rider and then sit behind him. Popular attractions on the way are Lang Co Lagoon, Hai Van Pass or fishing villages or beaches or natural streams/waterfalls. However, because of being flexible and private, it’s possible to tell the rider to reach Ba Na Hills and wait for a couple of hours, before head to Da Nang or Hoi An to end the trip. If do not mind a very long ride or traffic in Vietnam, let’s do this way to make your day more special.

HAI VAN PASS

Hue to Da Nang by Bus

Da Nang is about 100 kilometers south of Hue city center. If travel to this city by bus, visitors will spend 2-3 hours. If possible, let’s depart from Hue city as early as possible or at least in the morning. If take a bus from the Hue South Bus Station at 57 An Duong Vuong Street in Thuan Hoa district, the last stop will be the Da Nang Central Bus Station

The Da Nang Central Bus Station is on Ton Duc Thang St (Lien Chieu district), 7 kilometers away from Da Nang city downtown. Here, visitors can be picked up or easily find a private transfer by car to Ba Na Hills where the Golden Hands Bridge is located. The drive is 40-60 minutes long. Contact us by +84968009827 (hotline/whatsapp/line/zalo) to book a transfer by car.

If take a tourist bus, the departure time is less flexible (usually one bus in the morning, one bus in the afternoon). On the way, it stops at a local restaurant to have a break, eat/drink as well as Hai Van Pass for sightseeing. Therefore, it can be late to depart the transfer from Da Nang city (after drop off) to Ba Na Hills.

Our thoughts: Visitors need around 1/2 day to reach and visit the Golden Hands Bridge. Therefore, we recommend taking a night bus (sleeper bus) which arrives at Da Nang in the early morning to have as much time as possible, to do everything at an unhurried pace. Meaning that the train will leave Hanoi the day before. From February to September (the dry season), the weather is good. So, visitors can visit anytime as long as it’s still bright. Best Way to Go from Hue to Golden Hands Bridge

For us, the best way to go from Hue to Golden Hands Bridge is private transfer by car/bus. The reasons are that visitors can request a pick up time (early morning possible) and then have a direct driver to the park (instead of stopping somewhere to pick up or sightsee or drop off). By that, optimize the time for visiting Ba Na Hills and Golden Bridge in the day. If take a train or tourist bus, one more transfer is required to reach Ba Na Hills, so somehow these ways are inconvenient and less flexible (although cheaper).

No matter the train or airplane, visitors will go to Da Nang city centre where it’s easy to look for one transfer to Ba Na Hills.
