White Water Rafting at Hoa Phu Thanh
The whitewater rafting experience at Hoa Phu Thanh navigates a natural stream through a series of exhilarating drops and rocky chutes surrounded by lush jungle scenery. Participants wear safety gear and board rubber canoes to plunge through the cascading waters, offering a high-energy adventure for those visiting the Da Nang mountains. The course concludes in a tranquil pool where rafters can swim and relax after completing the intense descent through the waterfalls.
After arriving, visitors should go to the locker area first, to change the clothes and store the luggages that won’t be used during the rafting time. Keep the key carefully and if loose it, there is a compensation (50.000 VND).
If do not have or bring swimsuit, visitors can hire with a price of 50.000 VND (two pieces) for ladies and 50.000 VND (only short pant) for men.
During rafting, if see photographers, just look to the camera and smile (do not try to rise the hands for safety reason!). Near the locker area, visitors can check up the pictures taken and request to send them to email.
– Times:
+ Morning session: 10:30 AM (visitors must show 30 minutes before)
+ Afternoon session: 2:00 PM (visitors must show 30 minutes before)
*If go from Da Nang center, make sure that you leave the hotel at least 1 hour (9:30 AM or 1:00 PM latest).
Safety demonstration is presented 10 mins before by Vietnamese and English (other languages like Chinese, Korean, Indian….. not available for now).

The zipline experience at Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area in Da Nang delivers an unforgettable adrenaline rush for thrill-seekers visiting central Vietnam. The starting point for zipline is just close to ticket counter of Hoa Phu Thanh (5-7 minutes walk).
Regulations:
+ availability (opening hours): 8:00 to 11:30AM and 1:30 to 4:30 PM daily (closed when it’s rainy)
+ price: included in entrance ticket of Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area (costing 150,000 VND per adult and child above 130cm)
*If buy a water rafting ticket (costing 300.000 VND now), it doesn’t mean that the ziplining is included. This activity is only covered by the entrance ticket (admission ticket), which visitors use to enter the Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area.
+ weight limit: 25 to 90 kilograms (there is a balance at the waiting area, so visitors can check right the weight before zipline)
+ others: visitors can’t participate when clothes are wet.
Therefore, if possible, do this activity before the water rafting. When have no time or not convenient, just go back to the locker area to change the new (dry) clothes.

How to Get to Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area
Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area is in Phu Tuc village, Hoa Phu commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang city. It’s 30 km away from Da Nang city centre, and 40 km from Hoi An. To get there, visitors can hire a car/taxi/minivan/bus or ride the motorbike like many local tourists.
It takes passengers around 1 hour to get to Hoa Phu Thanh Tourist Area from Da Nang, and a bit more from Hoi An. The price of a roundtrip transfer by car/taxi is from 800,000 VND.
