Taking a speed boat is the fastest way to reach Cham Islands Vietnam. The best time to come is between March and August, when the dry season brings calm turquoise waters and brilliant sunshine perfect for snorkeling. For the most idyllic conditions, aim for June to August, as this period offers the peak water clarity and warmest temperatures for exploring the coral reefs.
Here is the schedule of Cham Island speed boats at Cua Dai Port:
– Morning: approximately 8:00-10:00 AM (return boat from Cham Island is available from 1:00 to 3:30 PM)
– Afternoon: no boats
The speed boat ride is 20-30 minutes long, depending on the weather conditions of the day. Drop off place is the pier at Bai Lang Village, the main fishing village on Cham Island. To return to the mainland, please go back to this pier. If book a homestay in Bai Huong Village, the distance is around 5km.
In addition to the main village, the speed boat also takes the visitor to the most beautiful beaches like Bai Ong or Bai Chong, snorkeling/diving spots, or even to Bai Huong Village (a remote fishing village on the island).

About the price, a ferry ticket to Cham Islands costs 500,000-600,000 VND per passenger for one round trip. In addition, there is an entry fee and an ecological fee required for visitors (free for citizens on the island). Total cost of these fees is 100,000 VND per person (kids under 5 won’t be charged).
