Constructed in 1919, Cao Dai Temple of Duong Dong is the head temple for all Caodaists living on Phu Quoc Island, who follow Caodaism. This religion was officially established in 1926 at Tay Ninh, a province in southern Vietnam, from elements in Vietnamese folk beliefs, Taoism, Confucianism and Catholicism. Its central symbol is the Divine Eye, representing the Supreme Being.
Without permissions from Caodaism believers, visitors can not visit their Cao Dai Temple of Duong Dong (and any other ones across Vietnam), especially if want to see the interior.

How to Get to Cao Dai Temple of Phu Quoc
Cai Dai Temple is at 40 Nguyen Trai Street, Duong Dong town, Phu Quoc island, Vietnam.
From Duong Dong town center, the distance to Cai Dai Temple is less than 1 kilometer. So, visitors can walk, take a taxi or ride the bicycle/motorcycle to get there. Parking lot is near the entrance of the temple, and it’s free to park.
From An Thoi, a town in southern Phu Quoc, the distance to Cai Dai Temple in Duong Dong will be 27 kilometers. Visitors can take a private car/bus, shuttle buses, or ride the motorbike. The drive by car/bus is roughly 45 minutes. We suggest visiting other attractions in Duong Dong town if go from An Thoi.
From Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), in the middle of Phu Quoc Island, the distance to Cai Dai Temple in Duong Dong will be 14 kilometers. Visitors can take a private car/bus or shuttle buses. The drive by car/bus is roughly 20-25 minutes.
