Ba Na Hills Ticket Price for Kids

In 2024, Ba Na Hills ticket price for children whose height is 1,4 meters and above is 900,000 VND (approx 36 USD). It’s 750,000 VND (approx 30 USD) for children from 1 meter to 1,4 meters, and free of charge for kids under 1 meter. These fees include .

After 3 pm, Ba Na Hills ‘evening ticket price is 850,000 VND (approx 35 USD) for children whose height is 1,4 meters and above. It’s 650,000 VND (approx 26 USD) for children from 1 meter to 1,4 meters, and free of charge for smaller kids.

Everyday, Ba Na Hills opens from 8 am to 10 pm. Cable cars will be operated to serve visitors during these business hours, but not all.

Best Things to Do in Ba Na Hills With Kids

Take Photos with Famous People in Wax Museum

Ba Na Hills has one wax figure museum. It opened to visitors in July 2013, making it the first one of its kind in Vietnam. Located in the Level B1 of the Fantasy Park, the amusement park of Ba Na Hills, it houses a collection of nearly 100 wax statues depicting famous people in the world. There are singers, dancers, actors and actresses, sports players, politicians, musicians, so on. So, boys may have the chance to meet and take a photo with football player stars such as Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo or basketball stars such as Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant. Girls will see and take a selfie with Lady Gaga, Angelina Jolie, Victoria Beckham.

It’s needed to buy a separate ticket to visit Ba Na Hills Wax Museum. The price in 2024 is 100,000 VND for adults and children above 1,4 meters in height. It’s free for smaller kids. Opening hours are from 8 am to 5 pm daily.

See Flowers in Le Jardin D’Amour Garden

Ba Na Hills is home to many gardens, and the largest one is Le Jardin d’Amour Flower Garden. This is a series of 9 gardens set on different terraces of the mountain, from mountaintop down to streamside. In the central portion, kids will see five continous gardens with seasonal flowers varying in color, lush plants, art marble sculptures, stepped waterfall, and especially, a statue of ballerina. At the Grape Garden, live shows and performances occur throughout the day. At Suoi Mo Garden, visitors can capture a breath-taking panoramic view to Da Nang city below. At Eden Garden, there is a sculpture of a peacock. All of them provide many photo opportunities and to get immense into nature. At Mystery Garden, there is a small maze in which kids can walk on stone paths through lush plants, and find right directions or get lots.

The best time to visit Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens is early morning or afternoon when crowds are not here.

Swing du Fantasie (Carousel)

This is one of a few outdoor carousels in Ba Na Hills. Lying within the French Village, not too far from Helios Waterfall, it’s cool to try a ride and free to do. In the high tourist season, the queue is quite long here, but players just need to wait for a couple of minutes because the ride on this carousel is about 5 mins long.

World’s Longest Cable Cars at Ba Na Hills

Ba Na Hills is globally famous because of its guiness record for cable cars. Up to date, there are 4 major cable car routes and 2 connecting cable cars that are in operation. The first route was inaugurated in 2009, winning two world records: longest cable car in the world (about 5 kilometers) and the largest difference of altitude between departure and arrival stations (approx 1,400 meters). Younger cable cars are longer. During the cable car ride up to Ba Na Hills (15-20 minutes long), kids will have the chance to see a national park below the car. This park has rolling hills, old forests, whispering streams, white-water falls, craggy outcrops and diverse wildlife. On many days of the year, mountains and jungles are soaked into the clouds. For that reason, kids can keep watching nature and having joy.

Jurassic Park at Fantasy Park

On the Level B1 of the Fantasy Park (amusement park), near its main entrance, the Jurassic Park shows models of many types of dinosaur, plants and other lives in the Age of Dinosaurs (252 to 66 millions years ago). Information about them is also given. Kids can enter this place for free to watch them and take photos. Not far away, there are many other games to play, rides and other kinds of entertainment.

Funicular Ride to Lunar Castle

Besides walking, visitors can go to the Lunar Castle or Moon Castle by funicular (mountain train) from the French Village. It’s 10 minutes long, allowing passengers to see the beautiful natural scenery from one side and huge castles from the other side. Each train can carry up to 80 persons at the same time. The departure station is in the building of Arapang Restaurant, within ‘Kingdom of Sun’ and the arrival station is in the lowest level of the Lunar Castle, within ‘Kingdom of Moon’. Not only a transfer, the funicular ride to the Moon Castle is also an experience.

4D Moon Junction Theatre (Lunar Castle)

This air-conditioned, newly-opened theatre is on Level 2 of the Lunar Castle or Moon Castle, the last destination of the funicular ride coming from the French Village. Here, there are lots of seats for families with kids and young adults to have a seat, wear glasses and then enjoy watching an English entertaining movie. This activity is for all ages and both boys and girls. Between 9:30 am and 5 pm, it’s available after every 10 minutes and the last movie begins at 4:30 pm. Therefore, those who want to watch won’t need to wait too long.

Regulation: Kids whose height from 1,1m to 1,29m have to go with parents. Children who have a lower height can not participate.

Visit Golden Hands Bridge at Sunset

In the sunset, the Golden Hands Bridge is so fascinating thanks to its inspirational, unique architecture and beautiful red/orange sky as background. Visitors have a perfect opportunity to take great photos or make videos. Different from earlier times in the day, there are no crowds here, making the experience so easy and breezy. Sure, kids can enjoy walking/running freely on the bridge, watching giants and having pictures with parents or siblings. The temperature is also comfortable due to cool and fresh air blowing from forests. After coming to the end of this bridge, when it’s still bright, visitors can go downhill to flower gardens, a Big Buddha statue and Buddhist temples.

Ride Alpine Coasters at French Village

Ba Na Hills has 2 alpine coasters, both in the Fantasy Park. Players will sit in a car, and the one sitting behind uses a hand break lever to slow down the speed while moving on the track from a height of 57 meters. It’s more adventurous when the car goes faster over time, and at closed loops. Two cameras will photograph players automatically, and then it’s possible to select the best photo & pay for a print.

The Airship Theatre or Flying Eyes Theatre (Lunar Castle)

Located on the Level 3 of the Lunar Castle or Moon Castle, the Airship Theatre or Flying Eyes Theatre provide kids a fun experience. They will sit on a chair and then ‘fly’ like a bird, to go around the world and see famous wonders or cities. It’s 10 minutes long, available from 9 am to 5 pm everyday (last slot at 4:40 pm). There are only 20 people staying here each time. Like other dimensional movies, it’s free to visit the Airship Theatre or Flying Eyes Theatre.

Regulation: Kids whose height from 1,1m to 1,29m have to go with parents. Children who have a lower height can not participate.

Watch Exciting Performances at French Village

During the day, the French Village area is the most vibrant place in Ba Na Hills. Visitors will see live outdoor performances and shows from artists coming from everywhere in the world, from 10 am to 3 pm.

After each performance, visitors have time to take photos with artists. Kids may like stand next to a superman, magician, fairy ladies, princes and princesses, cartoon figures, so on. How much for tipping is personal.

On rainy days, performances occur inside the Fantasy Park and won’t be available in outdoor spaces around the French Village.

Rock Climbing at Fantasy Park

On the level B3 (the lowest level) of the Fantasy Park in Ba Na Hills, visitors will find rock climbing. This activity is near the drop tower. Kids can climb to the top of a 21-meters-long cliff to have joy and lessons about problem solving, patience or building confidence. Ticket is required to participate, with a fee of 100,000 VND for adults and children above 1,4 meters in height. Kids between 1,2 and 1,4 meters are free of charge and kids under 18 years old have to go with parents. The availability is anytime between 8:30 am and 7 pm daily. Players have no limited time like other games and other services in the mountain.

Tips to Visit Ba Na Hills with Kids

– Kids under 1 meters won’t be charged an entry fee. If the height is between 1 and 1,4 meters, parents need to pay for their children, but it is cheaper than a standard ticket.

– It’s possible to bring food and drink for toddlers to Ba Na Hills.

– Parents can go to customer service at Ba Na Hills’s main entrance to borrow a trolley for smaller kids/toddlers and will return it when the trip finishes.
