Not far away from An Thoi Station (Hon Thom cable car terminal), Arc de Triomphe is a famous photo spot at Phu Quoc Sunset Town. It’s a replica of Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile, an iconic landmark in Paris, capital of France. This 50-meters-tall stone gate was built in 1806, and commissioned by Napoleon Bonaparte (a French military general and stateman who lived from 1769 to 1821). Purpose of its construction is to honor the French army and commemorate his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz 1805.
The best time to visit Arc de Triomphe during the day is early morning or late afternoon till sunset, when lighting is moderate for perfect photos. This place is also one of stops in the buggy tour at Sunset Town Phu Quoc.

How to Get to Arc de Triomphe in Phu Quoc Sunset Town
Arc de Triomphe is located on Almafi Road, Sunset Town, An Thoi, Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. It’s near Anh Duong Station (Sunshine Station) where Hon Thom cable car boards. Before or after taking cable car, visitors can sightsee it without difficulty.
Within the Sunset Town, the distance to Arc de Triomphe is 1,5 kilometers maximum. Visitors can walk, cycle, take an electric buggy/car or taxi, or ride the motorbike. Groups can hire a shuttle bus to tour around the town to save time and energy, and its price won’t be too expensive.
If go to Sunset Town from other places in An Thoi (southern Phu Quoc), the distance is 5-7 kilometers. Visitors can use personal vehicles (motorbike, bike, car) or take a private car/bus/taxi.
From Khem Beach, visitors can take Hon Thom shuttle bus to reach Sunset Town. After being dropped off at Anh Duong cable car station, walk to the arc gate.
From Duong Dong town, the capital of Phu Quoc Island, the distance to Sunset Town will be 25-30 kilometers. The quickest transport is by private taxi/car/bus, and the cheapest transport is by motorbike (self driving) or Hon Thom shuttle bus
From the Phu Quoc International Airport (PQC), the distance to Sunset Town is nearly 20 kilometers. The quickest way to get there is taking a private car/bus, and the drive will be around 40 minutes long. It’s possible for the car/bus dropping visitors off at the arc gate.
From northern Phu Quoc, the distance to Sunset Town is 40-50 kilometers. The quickest way to get there is taking a private car/bus, and the drive will be around 1 hour long. It’s possible for the car/bus dropping visitors off at the arc gate.
