Da Nang to Mang Den by Car/Bus
The distance from Da Nang to Mang Den town is around 280 kilometers. If visitors take a private car/bus, the drive will be 5-5,5 hours, depending on traffic and weather conditions. We recommend leaving Da Nang in the morning, in order to arrive Mang Den in the lunch time. Around this town, there are many places to eat. After having lunch, visitors can go to the hotel for check in (usually at 2 pm) and relax then.
If don’t need a private transport to Mang Den, visitors from Da Nang can go to Da Nang Central Bus Station (Ton Duc Thang Str) to take a sleeper bus. Da Nang to Mang Den by Motorbike
The quickest motorbike route from Da Nang to Mang Den town is the coastal road Vo Chi Cong and highway QL24. Here are directions:
+ Da Nang to Nui Thanh: from anywhere in Da Nang, find the quickest way to Vo Nguyen Giap Road or Truong Sa Road, and then Cua Dai Bridge. After cross it, go straight ahead and follow the coastal road (named Vo Chi Cong) until Nui Thanh town.
+ Nui Thanh to Quang Ngai City: from the coastal road, turn into QL 1A (or AH1, north-south highway) and then go southwards to Quang Ngai city.
+ Quang Ngai City to Mang Den: keep going southwards and along QL1A until the crossroad of QL24 highway in Duc Pho. Turn right, keep going and follow QL24 highway until Violak Pass. Mang Den lies on the other side of this pass.
