The Quang Tri Mine Action Center (QTMAC) is the provincial governmental body responsible for coordinating all humanitarian mine action and unexploded ordnance (UXO) recovery operations in Quang Tri Province. Because the region along the former Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) was heavily bombed during the Vietnam War, QTMAC plays a crucial role in managing land clearance and safety programs.
