What to Expect in the Memory Garden of Ba Na Hills?

The Memory Garden is the largest garden in Ba Na Hills, Da Nang Vietnam. It’s surrounded by covered walkways on which visitors go to the cable car stations from the main entrance. 

In the Memory Garden of Ba Na Hills, visitors can expect to see plants and flowers that are typical to Vietnam (such as lotus, bamboo, water lily, banana, areca palm, betel leaf, grapefruit tree, water apple tree, coconut tree, champa flower,…) as well as lakes and ponds with lots of carp fishes.

During the day, it’s not crowded in the Memory Garden because visitors often want to go quickly to the cable car stations (to reach up the mountaintop). If want to spend time here to visit and take pictures, don’t stress about the time.

Tips to Visit Memory Garden in Ba Na Hills

– In the dry season, from February to the end of August, visitors should bring sun cream, hat/cap/umbrella, sun glasses, and bottles of water to drink. If don’t have, it’s easy to buy at shops near the Kazik Park.

– In the rainy season, from September to January, visitors should bring rain poncho/jacket or umbrella, sandals or waterproof shoes. Don’t forget to check the weather forecast usually when traveling during this period.

How to Get to Memory Garden in Ba Na Hills

The Memory Garden is located in the complex of cable car stations at the foot of Ba Na Hills.

From parking lots, visitors need to go to the main entrance of Ba Na Hills. After walking pass the Time Gate, go into the big gate and then climb stairs or take the escalator to reach the higher ground. Turn left to see the Memory Garden (and then go across to reach the cable car stations).

On the way to all cable car stations in Ba Na Hills, anyway visitors will see the Memory Garden. On rainy days, paths to this garden may be fenced (because they can be slippery).
