Hoi An Memories Show When It Rains
Firstly, the Hoi An Memories Show still takes place as usual when it rains. It just closes when Hoi An is flooded seriously. On that days, roads to this show will be inundated, not allowing most kinds of transportation, except walking and cycling. When the show is shut down by the owner, visitors can change the date without any charge and a refund may be impossible (that’s why cheacking the weather forecast is very important before book if go to Hoi An from October to January).
If it’s raining, to have no worries about getting wet during the show (8 to 9 pm), visitors can come to the theater at 7:30 pm (even earlier) to take the highest seats in High class zone. Make sure you are the first people passing the ticket check. Before seeing the stage, free rain poncho is provided from the show. The ponchos are in the plastic basket, and after the show, it’s needed to return if didn’t use. Personal rain poncho is allowed to bring into the theater, but not the umbrella because it can block the view of the ones who sit behind.
All seats in VIP class area are covered. Therefore, getting wet is impossible. With a comfortable chair, best views and good food/drink, visitors in this zone enjoy the Hoi An Memories Show better than others, especially during the rainy season.
All seats in Eco clas area are outdoor. It means that visitors have to wear a poncho if it rains, while watching the Hoi An Memories Show. When it rains before the show time, the seats are totally wet, and to not make the pants wet/dirty, many people choose to sit on the poncho!
