This private tour shows you highlights and hidden gems of Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain), a nature reserve northeast Da Nang city center. Here, you will see a 67-meters-tall Lady Buddha statue, one of the tallest Buddha statues in Southeast Asia. It lies in Linh Ung Pagoda, an extensive religious complex. At one of the highest points in the mountain, enjoy watching a breathtaking view. Other places are one of the most beautiful beaches, a cafe with view and historical remains. If lucky, you have the chance to see Son Tra langurs or red shanked doucs that are very rare in the world.

Son Tra Peninsula Tour
The Monkey Mountain of Da Nang is known as Son Tra Mountain. This 6,000-hectares mountain is surrounded by the sea on three sides. It’s home to untouched forests with a high diversity of animals, spectacular coastline and beautiful beaches. See more details
Here are places that you will visit in the Monkey Mountain:
– Linh Ung Pagoda: the biggest Buddhist temple in the area. Built on the hilltop from 2004 to 2010, it has very large worshipping halls, tall towers, numerous bonsai trees and plenty of stone sculptures. The view from here is awe-inspiring. See more details
– Lady Buddha: a statue of Lady Buddha (Goddess of Mercy) rising up to 67 meters from the surrounding. It’s one of the tallest Buddha statues in Vietnam. See more details
– Y Pha Nho Cemetery: a cemetery with tombs of French and Spanish solders who died in the war with Vietnamese people from 1858 to 1860. See more details
– Da Nang Bay Lookout: stop at a lookout to enjoy seeing the fascinating view to Da Nang Bay. Our guide will point out and provide the information about places that can be seen by eyes (mountain ranges, beaches, bridges, harbors, etc)
– Ban Co Peak (Chessboard Peak): the second highest peak in Son Tra Mountain, with an elevation of nearly 700 meters. Here, you will see a breath-taking view to the city of Da Nang and My Khe Beach as well as a group of stone sculptures telling us a local story. – In the end of the tour, our driver & guide will drop you off at your hotel.
– Pickup surcharge is required to visitors staying NOT in Da Nang city center or Hoi An city center.

– Children above 1,4 meters height OR 10 years old will be charged same to adults.

– Any cancellation before 5 – 4 days of departure date will be charged 50% selling price.
– Any cancellation before 3 – 2 days of departure date will be charged 75% selling price.
– Any cancellation within 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable.

What to bring/wear
Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash.
To visit historical places, visitors should wear respectively. In other words, wear long pants to cover the upper knees, wear the shirt to cover shoulders, navel and armpits.
