My Son Sanctuary
Hidden away in the mountains, My Son Sanctuary is the holy land of Cham people who owned the Champa kingdom from the 2nd to 19th centuries. It has more than 70 buildings. The oldest one was constructed in the 4th century. Here, Shiva is the main deity. After the 14th century, My Son was abandoned and then invaded by forests. In the Vietnam War, it’s damaged by bombings from the USA air force. See more details
From the main entrance, visitors will take a transfer by buggy car to skip a 2-kilometers-long walk to the temple zone (still walk after this ride).
In My Son Sanctuary, visitors will see Temple B-C-D (the largest group), Temple A, Temple G, Temple E, Temple F and ruins along the trekking trail. See more details
Total walking distance is 2 kilometers.
Return & Drop off
Take the buggy car again to return to the main entrance and then walk to the parking lot.
In Da Nang or Hoi An, our guide & driver will drop you off in your hotel within city center.

– Our driver & guide will pick you at your hotel in Da Nang city center (including Hai Chau District, Son Tra District except Nai Hien Dong ward & Tho Quang ward, Ngu Hanh Son District except Hoa Hai ward & Hoa Quy ward) or Hoi An city center.
– In the end of the tour, our driver & guide will drop you off at your hotel.
– Pickup surcharge is required to visitors staying NOT in Da Nang city center or Hoi An city center.
– All surcharges are payable in cash directly to your tour guide.
– No pick up & drop off service in Tan Hiep area of Hoi An (Cham Island).
– Children above 1,4 meters height OR 10 years old will be charged same to adults.
– Children from 1 to 1,4 meters height OR from 5 to 10 years old, will have a discount.
– Children under 5 years old OR 1 meter height, will be free of charge.
– On your day of travel, if your kid is 1,4 meters and above (and you booked a children ticket previously), please pay the surcharge of 350,000 VND in cash.

Fantastic Tour with Vinh to My Son
My wife and I did an early morning half day tour of My Son and our tour guide, Vinh, was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable about the site, the history of the area and its people, and made the day seamless. The tour company was also great with communication in advance of the tour via WhatsApp and customizing it to include a boat trip back to Hoi An after we finished at My Son. They accommodated our request for an extra early start, which made us the first people there for the day and we had the site to ourselves for the first 30-60 minutes.

Excellent My Son sanctuary sunrise tour
Tommy is a great and knowledgeable guide – the fact that this is an early-morning tour made our visit quite relaxing and enjoyable. Overall, a nice and memorable experience.
They are very communicative, we got a confirmation about the pick-up place and time through WhatsApp a day before. And they are punctual! We will get back in town before noon, so we will have another half day to enjoy Hoi An. I highly recommended the trip!
