In Ba Na Hills: Parking Lots to Main Entrance
Depending on type of vehicle and arrival time, location of the parking lot is different. The parking lot for motorbike lies in the end of Ba Na – Suoi Mo Road (from the city). There, please tell the staff that you are a tourist (no staff) to park in a closer place. Before leaving, remember to keep carefully the card he gives and when return, please show it to take the motorbike. If loose it, it’s needed to contact people in the hotel or the shop where you hire the bike, to prove that you are a right person. It’s free of charge to park in Ba Na Hills. From the bike parking lot, please go downhill (follow the covered walkway if it rains) to the main entrance. The distance is only 100-150 meters.
If book a car/taxi (4-seaters or 7-seaters car), it’s possible to drop you off in the main entrance of Ba Na Hills when it’s just opened (early morning). During the day, the car must park or drop off visitors in the parking lot that is 200 meters away from main entrance. From here, you can walk, take a free buggy transfer by car or bus. In busy days or high tourist season, the car parking lot is even further. However, Ba Na Hills always arranges a free shuttle bus for all visitors to reach the main entrance.
If go by a van/bus, it’s possible to park and drop off in the parking lot right in the front of main entrance. So, visitors only need a short walk to start visiting.
After finishing the visit in Ba Na Hills, those who take a van/bus just walk in a short distance to see the driver, while those who take a car, it’s needed to use a transfer by buggy car/bus to the car parking lot in further areas.

Direct Cable Car to Golden Hands Bridge
Riding the cable car is the only way to reach Ba Na Hills (at an elevation of 1,400m). Until 2024, there are 4 cable car routes in operation, and their schedule is changed daily (depending on weather, maintenance, number of tourists). Generally, a cable car ride is 15-20 mins long and one car can carry from 6 to 12 people. Passengers will enjoy picturesque sceneries and panoramic views, diverse wildlife in the national park, and cool breeze and fresh air. In addition, the cars also go through clouds or different kinds of weather (sunny, rainy, cloudy, sunrise, sunset). See full information & details
Because of a big altitude change, passengers will feel a bit nervous, tinnitus and headache during a cable car ride at Ba Na Hills.
French Village to Golden Hands Bridge
The French Village is another portion in Ba Na Hills. On the other mountain to Golden Hands Bridge’s mountain, it has huge castles, amusement park, wax museum, roller coasters, temples, pagodas, water fountains, hotels, restaurants, etc.
When the Hoi An Station is closed or overloaded, visitors must get the cable car from Thac Toc Tien Station or Champa Station, and then land at the French Village. From here, it’s needed to get one more cable car to reach the Golden Bridge (which lies on another mountain). The quickest cable car ride is from Louvre Station. This station is underground, so it’s quite difficult to find it if don’t go with a guide. We advise walking along the paved road (in front of Arapang Restaurant or Little Tokyo Restaurant) until seeing the cable cars. Ask any staff who wear the red T-shirt uniform to confirm the right direction. After a short ride from Louvre Station, visitors will land at Bordeaux Station and then walk downstairs to visit the Golden Hands Bridge.
If cable cars from Louvre are not operated, visitors have to wait or use the cable car from Morin Station if available. The Morin Station is near the church and cars from here carry passengers to Debay Station. From Debay Station, it’s needed to get a short funicular ride (free) to go up the hill (or walk if want) and then follow the path on the left side to see the Golden Bridge.
Suoi Mo Station to Golden Hands Bridge
When the Hoi An Station and other stations are closed or overloaded (especially in peak tourist seasons), visitors must ride the cable car from Suoi Mo Station to reach the mountaintop. This is the oldest cable car route and station in Ba Na Hills.
If ride the cable car from Suoi Mo Station, visitors will land at Ba Na Station. From here, it’s needed to have a funicular ride from nearby D’Amour Station. This is just 2 minutes long and is the first of its kind in Vietnam. The train will carry passengers to the hilltop, particularly Le Jardin Station. After exit, follow the walking path on the left side, through colorful ceramic walkways, past the old house and then see the Golden Hands Bridge.
Another way to go to the hilltop from Ba Na Station is climbing stairs to Linh Ung Ba Na Pagoda, and then hike to the Big Buddha, Le Jardin d’Amour Flower Garden. The Golden Hands Bridge is at the end of the main walking path. It’s close to the Marseille Station or Bordeaux Station. So, visitors just ask the direction to these stations to find the shortest way to the bridge.
To continue exploring Ba Na Hills, visitors need to go upstairs to Bordeaux Station and then ride the cable car to Louvre Station (a place in the French Village as many people introduced). This ride is not long.
