Golden Hands Bridge is in Ba Na Hills, a theme park on the mountaintop in Da Nang Vietnam. Here, visitors will take the cable cars to reach it. One of them carries the passengers directly to the bridge, and it is shut down in some days during the month, for maintenance. Therefore, visitors have to take other cable cars. However, all of that cable cars go to the French Village, a different area to the Golden Bridge. No surprise that many people are confused and they don’t know how to get to the bridge from the village. Now, HoiAn Day Trip Company will tell you all the ways and the best one.

Brief instruction: French Village (L’Indochine Station or Taiga Station) → Louvre Station (cable car station) → Bordeaux Station→ Golden Bridge
The cable car at Louvre Station is available from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. However, day trippers will be here after 8:30 pm. From 6:00 to 10:00 pm, it’s available at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm, and only for 5 minutes. Check again the schedule in your day of travel.
In many days when the cable car from the Hoi An Station is closed (the direct cable car to Golden Bridge), visitors will need to take the cable car from Thac Toc Tien Station or Champa Station (at the foot of Ba Na Hills).
After 20-30 minutes traveling by cable car, visitors will arrive at L’Indochine Station or Taiga Station in the French Village. Here are directions to go from these stations to Louvre Station where the cable car to the Golden Bridge is available:
– From L’Indochine Station: find the gate with a windmill, lying on the other side of the roundabout in the front of the station’s entrance. After that, walk along the stone-paved path behind it, pass by the Noel Plaza and Arapang Restaurant (right) and Little Tokyo Restaurant (left). Keep going straight, enter the building with entrance decorated by Greek gods and going straight again to see the Louvre Station. On the other hand, visitors can walk across the Square du Dome (Union Square), pass by Kavkaz Restaurant and then go downstairs to see the path to the Louvre Station (underground).
Our suggestion is asking the direction to Arapang Restaurant or Little Kyoto Restaurant. From there, go in the building with entrance decorated by Greek gods and then keep going to see the Louvre Station.
– From Taiga Station: walk along the stone-paved path on the right hand side and then downhill to the square in the front of Saint Denis Church (pass by Viet Restaurant, La Lavender Restaurant, Brasserie Restaurant). Find the gate with a windmill, lying on the other side of the roundabout in the front of the station’s entrance. After that, walk along the stone-paved path behind it, pass by the Noel Plaza and Arapang Restaurant (right) and Little Tokyo Restaurant (left). Currently, visitors have to take a cable car ride to reach the Golden Bridge from the French Village. To find it, it’s needed to go to Louvre Station or Morin Station.
The cable car at Morin Station is not available everyday, while it’s available throughout the day at Louvre Station. Additionally, after getting off the cable car from Morin Station, visitors need to have a transfer by funicular and then wak to see the Golden Bridge. But, after the cable car at Louvre Station arrives, no more transfer is required and the walking distance to the Golden Bridge is short.
For that reason, the best way to go to the Golden Bridge from French Village is taking the cable car at Louvre Station.
Going to Golden Bridge from Mercure Danang French Village Bana Hills
Mercure Bana Hills is a hotel in the French Village. From the foot of the mountain, visitors who booked a room here, will take the cable car from Thac Toc Tien Station or Champa Station. Thac Toc Tien Station is more popular because the check-in lounge is in this station. After reaching the mountaintop, the walking distance to the hotel is also shorter.
From Mercure Bana Hills, the guests need to walk to the Louvre Station or Morin Station to see the Golden Bridge. After that, ride the cable car to the Golden Bridge. See more details in above guides.
