Afterward, trade the workshop for the water as you board a rustic boat on the historic Thu Bon River. Our driver and guide will pick up you at your hotel in Hoi An.
Wood carving workshop (3 hours)
Firstly, you will come to a workshop located in a peaceful rural village on an island 30 minutes away from Hoi An. On the way, it’s possible to see rice fields, vegetable gardens, animal farms, rivers, coconut forests, etc. Sitting on the river bank, this place is a perfect for having a seat and trying your hands with traditional Vietnamese woodworking.
At the workshop, you meet professional carvers who will instruct you how to make a souvenir with your own idea (like a sculpture, statue, painting,…). It’s time to upgrade the skills!
Before or after the class, see amazing sculptures designed and made by different artists, and listen to their stories.
Boat trip on Thu Bon River (30 mins)
After 3-hour class, our driver will take you to the boat station and embark the boat ride downstream the Thu Bon River. This is the largest river in the area.
During this boat trip, it’s possible to see rural areas near Hoi An, which have villages, bamboo forests, rice fields, herbs of water buffalo. You also see authentic local life such as fisherman catching fishes or baby clams.
Our boat will stop at the pier in Hoi An Old Town.
Return & drop off
In the end of the tour, our driver will drop off you at hotel in Hoi An.

– Our driver & guide will pick you at your hotel in Da Nang city center (including Hai Chau District, Son Tra District except Nai Hien Dong ward & Tho Quang ward, Ngu Hanh Son District except Hoa Hai ward & Hoa Quy ward) or Hoi An city center.
– In the end of the tour, our driver & guide will drop you off at your hotel.
– Pickup surcharge is required to visitors staying NOT in Da Nang city center or Hoi An city center.
– All surcharges are payable in cash directly to your tour guide.
– No pick up & drop off service in Tan Hiep area of Hoi An (Cham Island).
– Children above 1,4 meters height OR 10 years old will be charged same to adults.
– Children from 1 to 1,4 meters height OR from 5 to 10 years old, will have a discount.
– Children under 5 years old OR 1 meter height, will be free of charge.
– On your day of travel, if your kid is 1,4 meters and above (and you booked a children ticket previously), please pay the surcharge of 350,000 VND in cash.

– Any cancellation before 3 – 2 days of departure date will be charged 75% selling price.
– Any cancellation within 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable.
