This 3-hour walking tour shows you highlights of Hoi An’s Old Town, a Unesco world heritage site. From the 15th to 19th centuries, it played its role as an international trading port where locals and foreign merchants traded different goods. Today, it’s the best preserved traditional Asian town. Here, visitors will see Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese assembly halls, museums and old wooden houses lining along narrow roads and small alleys. Hoi An is also widely known for lanterns and yellow buildings. Besides sightseeing and learning about the history, you will watch traditional art performances and visit local handicraft workshops.

Afternoon – 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM (local time)

Our guide will see you at the meeting point – entrance of Phap Bao Pagoda (near crossroad of Hai Ba Trung Street and Phan Chu Trinh Street).

What to bring/wear

Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash. To visit the temples, please wear respectively. In other words, make sure that the pants cover the upper knees and the shirt covers the navel, shoulders, armpits. See more details
