Da Nang Flower Street on Map
What to Expect in Da Nang Flower Street?
Like Nguyen Hue Flower Street in Ho Chi Minh City, the Da Nang Flower Street is one of the most sought-after. It often takes place in 15-20 days around Tet (Lunar New Year) at the promenade on the west bank of the Han River, between the Han River Bridge and the Dragon Bridge. This place is well-known for incredible public flower decoration/arrangements and big mascot which depicts the zodiac animal of the year (for example, dragon in 2024, snake in 2025, horse in 2026, goat in 2027, monkey in 2028, roaster in 2029 and pig in 2030). By that, there are many photo opportunities.
During Tet, locals will wear a traditional costume (like Ao dai long dress) and come to Bach Dang Flower Street to have beautiful photos with their beloved persons. It’s possible to find some men with a camera there, who provide photography service. Make sure that you have cash (VND) to pay them, because they will have no credit card payment or don’t accept foreign currencies.
Besides flower decorations and zodiac animal mascots, visitors will see a stunning view from the Bach Dang Flower Street that includes the Han River, Han River Bridge, Dragon Bridge, Tran Thi Ly Bridge, Sun Wheel, and Son Tra Mountain. At night, this view is a sparkling spectacle where the city’s iconic bridges radiate vibrant LED colors that reflect off the water like a shimmering silk ribbon.

From Da Nang, to get to the Da Nang Flower Street, visitors can walk (if book a hotel nearby), take a taxi, hire a private car/bus, or ride the motorbike.

The best motorbike route is still the coastal road (known as Lac Long Quan Road in Hoi An and Truong Sa/Vo Nguyen Giap Road in Da Nang). Due to high traffic during Tet, the drive is 50-60 mins if go by car and longer a bit if go by bike.
