Is Ba Na Hills Vietnam Free?

Sun World Ba Na Hills is not free to visit now. Meaning that tourists will need to pay a fee to enter this theme park. However, almost all attractions and activities within it are included (including the cable car).

Ba Na Hills Entrance Ticket 2026

Ba Na Hills entry ticket price is 1,000,000 VND (approximately 39 USD) per adult and child above 130cm (4,59 ft). It’s 800,000 VND (approx 31,25 USD) for children from 100cm to 139cm (3,28 ft to 4,59 ft). It’s free of charge for kids under 100cm.

For Da Nang citizens, Ba Na Hills ticket price is 650,000 VND per adult and kid above 139cm. It’s 550,000 VND for children from 100cm to 139cm. It’s free of charge for children under 100cm. At the ticket office in Ba Na Hills’s main entrance, cashiers won’t ask to show the ID card but at cable car stations, staff will do. Additionally, Da Nang citizens have a separate lane at ticket check points (sharing with wow pass ticket holders). Kids who do not have an ID card yet (under 14 years ago) must go with their parents. Parents must bring a legal and valid birth certificate to prove their children as Da Nang citizens.

Ba Na Hills entry ticket is no changeable and non refundable. Visitors just need to use it to scan at cable car stations to take the cable car and then explore everything.

Ba Na Hills Entrance Ticket with Lunch Buffet

From 01/01/2026 to 31/12/2026, Ba Na Hills entry ticket price with lunch buffet is 1,300,000 VND (approximately 52 USD) for per adult and child above 139cm (4,59 ft). It’s 950,000 VND (approx 39,5 USD) for children from 100cm to 139cm (3,28 ft to 4,59 ft), and 1,150,000 VND for seniors above 70 years old. It’s free of charge for children under 100cm. Senior visitors must show Vietnamese citizen ID card or passport if are foreigners.

For Da Nang citizens, Ba Na Hills entry ticket with lunch buffet is 100,000 VND per adult and kid above 139cm. It’s 890,000 VND for seniors above 70 years old and 750,000 VND for children from 100cm to 139cm. It’s free of charge for children under 100cm. At the ticket office in Ba Na Hills’s main entrance, cashiers won’t ask to show the ID card but at cable car stations, staff will do. Additionally, Da Nang citizens have a separate lane at ticket check points. Kids who do not have an ID card yet (under 14 years ago) must go with their parents. Parents must bring a legal and valid birth certificate to prove their children as Da Nang citizens.

If buying a Ba Na Hills ticket with lunch, visitors will receive one ticket card only with a QR code. At the cable car station, scan it to enter and take the cable car up the mountain, but please keep it. Later, at the restaurant, it’s needed to scan it again to use the food service. Name of the restaurant is shown on the card.

We advise visitors to take a photo for their own ticket after getting it from cashiers or travel agencies or tour guides. The photo won’t be used to replace the physical ticket card, but if lose it, the owners can use it as a proof. In this situation, visitors should go to the customer service at Ba Na Hills or the restaurant where they eat, and then show cashiers there the picture to print the card again. Staff in the hill station are friendly and helpful as they try to do all the time.

To skip the long queue at cable car stations, activities, buffet restaurants and other places, visitors can consider buying a ‘wow pass’, the skip-the-line ticket from Ba Na Hills. Its price is 300,000 VND (silver), 1,000,000 VND (gold), and 500,000 VND (games) per adult and child above 100cm.

To buy a wow pass ticket, visitors can go to the official ticket office in Ba Na Hills’s main entrance or contact local travel companies. Guests of some restaurants in Da Nang city (such as Novotel Danang Premier Han River Hotel, Grand Mercure Danang Hotel) will have a wow pass ticket as an exclusive offer.

It’s impossible to buy a wow pass ticket after taking cable car up to Ba Na Hills. Therefore, if don’t like queuing in a long line, please get one when come to the park.

Ba Na Hills evening ticket (entering after 3:00 pm) has a price of 1,050,000 VND per adult and child above 139cm (4,59 ft), 850,000 VND for children from 100cm to 139cm meters (3,28 ft to 4,59 ft), and 1,000,000 VND per senior above 70 years old. It’s free of charge for children under 100cm.

Here are some information to know before get this ticket:

– If buying Ba Na Hills evening ticket, visitors must go check-in at cable car stations at 3 pm onwards (in the rainy season) or 4 pm onwards (in the dry season).

– Attractions and activities included in the standard ticket price will remain, but after 5 pm, their availability or opening hours may be changed.

– Compared to ‘earlier’ ticket, Ba Na Hills evening ticket includes dinner buffet (usually in Beer Plaza Restaurant, French Village). Business hours are from 5:30 pm to 9 pm (may open earlier or later on your day of travel). Live music and complimentary beverages are also served.

– Buying Ba Na Hills evening tickets, or visiting Ba Na Hills after 4 pm is a good way to avoid the crowd and the heat. Yes, it’s cheaper and better than the ‘earlier’ one.

– Transfer by bus from a point in Da Nang city centre (and back) is available for free. However, it has a fixed timetable to pick up and a limited number of seats. If staying in Hoi An, visitors must reach Ba Na Hills by their own way.

How to Use Ba Na Hills Ticket?

If buy the tickets in Ba Na Hills’s main entrance, visitors will receive a ticket card. At the cable car station, the staff may take it to check the information on it and then scan it to let visitors to go inside. Da Nang citizens have a separate lane (must show the ID card again here), while foreigners and Vietnamese people from the rest of the country, stand in other lanes. If buy a ticket without buffet, the staff may take it and won’t give it back (because no need to use it anymore). If buy a ticket with buffet, the staff give you back the ticket card after scanning and at the restaurant (its name is on the ticket card), show it again to enter. If have an evening ticket (which includes the dinner), please remember to keep the ticket card and use it to go in the restaurant later.

If buy Ba Na Hills tickets online, you may have a E-ticket with QR code or go to an office in Ba Na Hills’s main entrance to exchange a ticket card.

Does Ba Na Hills Ticket Include Cable Car?

All Ba Na Hills tickets will include a roundtrip cable car, including one way to go up the mountaintop and one way to go down to the entrance/parking lot/city. For that reason, visitors must have a map or ask the staff before taking any cable cars. If going with a guide, just relax.
