First Day in Ba Na Hills: Golden Bridge + Moon Kingdom + Lunch

Brief itinerary: Da Nang/Hoi An – Time Gate – Cable car up (Hoi An Station) – Golden Hands Bridge – Debay Wine Cellar – Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens – Big Buddha – Linh Ung Pagoda – Bordeaux Station – Eclipse Plaza – Atlas Statue – Lunar Castle – Dragon Den Station (Lava train) – Pop Mart (toy store) – Alpine coaster – Lunch – Cable car down (Marseille Station or L’Indochine Station) – Da Nang/Hoi An

On the first day, we recommend coming to Ba Na Hills in the early morning (when it’s just opened) to avoid big crowds.

After buying a ticket, go to Hoi An Station and take the cable car there to Golden Bridge.

From the other side of Golden Bridge, follow the stone path to Le Jardin d’Amour Gardens. If interested, buy a ticket to enter Debay Wine Cellar (the oldest winery in Vietnam) and enjoy a glass of wine with beautiful views from the top of the bar.

Not far away, the Big Buddha is a good spot for taking photos and praying. Go downstairs to see Linh Ung Pagoda (sister temple with the ones at Marble Mountain and Monkey Mountain in Da Nang).

Return to Big Buddha, the Gardens and then Golden Bridge, and then find Bordeaux Station near the bridge. Take the cable car there to Louvre Station.

Take elevator or walk downstairs to Eclipse Plaza. See Lava Road if like and the Lava Castle (Pink Castle) from outside. Next, walk to Lunar Castle and on the way, will see the Giant Atlas Statue. Inside the castle, watch 4D movies at Flying Eyes Theater and/or Moon Junction Theater.

Find Dragon Den Station on the lowest floor of Lunar Castle and then take Lava train to Mystery Well Station. This funicular ride is free and 2 minutes long. After arriving, go up to the ground by elevator or escalator.

Walk to Pop Mart and buy favorite toys. This is the flagship store in Da Nang (central Vietnam).

Next, ride one of Vietnam’s longest alpine coasters near Pop Mart and Thai Market Restaurant. Visitors will pay 70,000 VND to participate, and it’s only available on clear days.

Have lunch at favorite restaurant like Thai Market Restaurant, Kavkaz Restaurant, Little Tokyo Restaurant, Bharata Restaurant, Four Seasons Restaurant.

To get down from Ba Na Hills, visitors can take the cable car at Marseille Station near Golden Bridge or L’Indochine Station near Saint Denis Church.

Second Day in Ba Na Hills: Sun Kingdom + Nightlife

Brief itinerary: Da Nang/Hoi An – Cable car up (Toc Tien Station) – Toc Tien Waterfall (from above) – Fantasy Park (drop tower, bouldering, bumper car, etc) – French Village (church, ) – Nui Chua Summit (temples) – Helios Waterfall – Medieval Fair (amusement rides, live dancing) – Ba Na Brew House – Beer Plaza (dinner, show) – Cable car down (L’Indochine Station) – Da Nang/Hoi An

Go back to Golden Bridge to see sunset if like.

On the second day, visitors don’t have to buy an entry ticket and just need to go straight to the cable car station. We recommend walking up to Toc Tien Station. The cable car here take people to L’Indochine Station in French Village.

The first attraction is Fantasy Park, a massive three-story indoor entertainment complex at Ba Na Hills, inspired by Jules Verne’s novels, offering over 100 diverse games and attractions perfect for escaping the October rain. The highlight is alpine coaster, a thrilling mountain sled ride that allows passengers to control their own speed while winding through lush forest curves and scenic slopes at an elevation of nearly 1,500 meters. Next, explore nearby French Village, a meticulously designed architectural complex that transports visitors to medieval France with its stone-paved streets, gothic cathedrals, and charming squares. Its highlight is Saint Denis Church, a stunning Gothic-style cathedral in the heart of the French Village, featuring intricate stained-glass windows and stone spires.

Climb up to Nui Chua Summit (King Peak), the highest point in Ba Na Hills and the city (1,487 meters above sea level), offering breathtaking panoramic views. Sightsee at Linh Chua Linh Tu Temple, Linh Phong Tower and Linh Phong Thien Tu Pagoda.

Go downhill to Medieval Fair, a bustling outdoor entertainment, where visitors can enjoy classic amusement rides, prize-winning carnival games, and a lively atmosphere that recreates the spirit of an old European market.

Visit Helios Waterfall, a grand architectural centerpiece in the French Village featuring over 40 golden bronze sculptures of Greek gods, highlighted by a majestic chariot of the Sun God Helios pulled by five horses. And then, Ba Na Hills Brew House. It’s a unique architectural site modeled after a traditional German brewery where visitors can sample fresh, locally crafted “Bana” beer while enjoying panoramic mountain views and learning about the artisanal brewing process.

Have dinner at Beer Plaza, a massive, multi-level glass dome where you can enjoy a lively buffet dinner featuring traditional German dishes, live music, and professional dance performances in a festive “Octoberfest” atmosphere. And then watch After Glow (cabaret show), an immersive, 18+ contemporary performance at Beer Plaza that blends theatrical drama, Rococo-inspired fashion, and mesmerizing choreography featuring an international cast of drag artists and Thai beauty queens.

Get down Ba Na Hills from nearby station like L’Indochine Station or Taiga Station.
