Sunrise or sunset at Golden Bridge Vietnam? At the moment, it’s only possible to watch the sunset only here because the bridge doesn’t open when the sun rises. If staying in the hotel at Ba Na Hills, there is no cable car (not operated yet) to reach it. The earliest time to be in Golden Hands Bridge for now, is 8 am. For sunrise/sunset lovers or photo hunters, the sunset is a better choice. Everything can be changed, so let’s see what happens when you come to Vietnam!
To have the best experience at Golden Hands Bridge in the sunset, visitors need to check the weather forecast first to choose a sunny day (at least no rainy, no cloudy). On that day, do not forget searching the exact sunset time on Google to time the trip better. If interested in this world-famous bridge only, let’s go in the afternoon and buy the evening ticket.

Visit Ba Na Hills Day or Night?
Ba Na Hills is stunning no matter daytime or nighttime. However, depending on purpose of the visit, people can know the best time to visit for themselves.
We recommend that first time visitors should go to Ba Na Hills in the daytime when it’s still bright. To do everything, the best time to depart is the morning. If want to explore this park at night too, please come in the afternoon and then stay here until the sun disappears. Those who have visited Ba Na Hills already, can start the trip later for sightseeing the Golden Hands Bridge and any other new attractions. Just make sure that time is enough.
For visitors who do not want to spend many hours in the park, let’s choose the period in the day/month when the weather is best, to visit. If want to beat the crowds, early morning departure is a must. However, staying until the evening is too tiring. Another way to avoid the crowds is making a trip in late afternoon (just before the sunset). Make sure that the weather is sunny or at least, not densely cloudy or rainy to have a good experience.

How to Get to Ba Na Hills in Afternoon/Evening
Ba Na Hills is in An Son village, Hoa Ninh commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang. Its main entrance is at the end of Ba Na – Suoi Mo Road. The distance from Da Nang city downtown to this place is around 25 kilometers, while from Hoi An city, it’s about 40 kilometers.
If want to visit Ba Na Hills at night, we recommend taking a private car/van/bus. The reason is that it’s hard or too expensive to look for a car to get back to the city after visiting. Visitors should start the trip in the afternoon to see the scenery along the cable car ride, watch the sunset at Golden Hands Bridge, or know the park looks in both daytime and nighttime. The drive from Da Nang is 45 minutes long and from Hoi An, it’s over 1 hour.
If book the hotel at Ba Na Hills and want to pick it up at Da Nang International Airport, private transfer by car is the best option. If the flight arrives in the evening, we recommend contacting a reliable local company or driver. For a transfer from Ba Na Hills back to the airport or to Da Nang/Hoi An, text us by whatsapp +84968009827 to have a good price. A package of two-ways transfer is possible to deal with.
Riding the motorbike is cheap and not too difficult, but it seems that this way is more suitable for those who stay in Da Nang than Hoi An. The distance from Da Nang is shorter and the road from this city is also better and safer at night.
