Day trippers can indeed access public Wi-Fi networks provided across main areas and plazas within the Ba Na Hills complex. However, because the resort spans a vast mountainous terrain, the connection signal can occasionally be spotty or slow during peak hours. To ensure a stable and uninterrupted connection, visitors can also rely on private Wi-Fi networks available inside coffee shops, restaurants, and hotels on-site. For seamless navigation and communication throughout the day, purchasing a local tourist SIM card or eSIM data plan beforehand is still widely recommended.

Public Wifi in Sun World Ba Na Hills Vietnam
Sun World Ba Na Hills provides free wifi access throughout the park, including both foothill zone and the peak zone. However, visitors still can’t connect with this network all the time and everywhere.
To use free wifi at Ba Na Hills, here is the instruction:
-
Enable Wi-Fi: Open the Settings menu on your smartphone or device and switch on Wi-Fi.
-
Select network: Look for the public network name (typically labeled “Sun World Ba Na Hills”, “Sun World Free WiFi”, or similar) in your available networks list and tap to join.
-
Open landing page: A pop-up login page (captive portal) should automatically open. If it doesn’t, open your browser (Safari, Chrome, etc.) and try visiting any website.
-
Accept & connect: Follow the on-screen instructions on the portal page—this may involve clicking “Connect” or accepting the terms of service—to gain internet access.
If need to use strong or/and smoothly-connected internet, visitors should get a tourist internet simcard. There is nowhere in Ba Na Hills selling it, but in Da Nang and Hoi An cities, there are lots of sellers (the airport, phone shops, market, convenience stores,…).
Simcard may be sold at D-Mart (the convenience store in French Village, near Bulgogi Restaurant and An Ba Na coffee shop). Please come directly and check.
