How to Minimize Walking at Ba Na Hills?
Tip 1: Buy Ba Na Hills entrance ticket online in advance. It helps you to skip the line at the official ticket counters.
Tip 2: Get a wow pass (skip the line ticket). With this pass, you can use the elevator near the big TV screen inside Cong Thanh (the big gate) to go upstairs, and then walk on a flat way to the cable car station.
Tip 3: Take the cable car at Hoi An Station to go up Ba Na Hills.
Make sure that Hoi An Station opens on your day of travel.
If have wow pass, you will use a private elevator to go upstairs and take the cable car immediately then. After the cable car landing, can take escalator up to Golden Bridge, the place not to miss.
Tip 5: From Golden Bridge to Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens and Debay Wine Cellar, there are 2 steep slopes. Although there are designated stairs .
Tip 6: From Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens to Big Buddha,
Tip 7: If want to see Le Jardin D’Amour Gardens/Debay Wine Cellar/Linh Ung Pagoda, make sure that you can climb stairs on the same path to go to next destinations.
Tip 8: The quickest way to reach French Village from Golden Bridge is taking the cable car at Bordeaux Station. Meaning that do not take the funicular train at L’Jardin Station even you go pass by it while going from the gardens to the bridge.
Tip 9: Do not choose Four Seasons Restaurant for lunch. If like a buffet, choose Bharata Restaurant (Indian/Halal), Little Tokyo Restaurant (Japanese buffet), Arapang Restaurant (international buffet) or restaurants inside French Village (L’Etable, La Crique, Brasserie, Kavkaz, Kungfu Noodle, Lotteria, Bulgogi,…).
Tip: Skip Nui Chua Mountain Summit (King Peak) because of too many stairs.
Tip : Book a local guide. He or she knows well Ba Na Hills, including all paths and directions. Instead of checking online or asking the staff, you just need to talk with your guide to minize the walking during the day.
Tip: Prepare a good, comfortable shoes to wear on Ba Na Hills day.
Tip: If like seeing Lunar Castle, take the lava train from Mystery Well Station. To access it, walk into Arapang restaurant’s bulding, take the elevator to get down the lowest level, and then see the train immediately (skip the escalators!).
To return or get down from Ba Na Hills, use the lava train again.
