Cycling from Hoi An to My Son Sanctuary is a fantastic way to experience the rural beauty of Central Vietnam. The approximately 45-kilometer journey takes you through charming local villages, vibrant rice paddies, and quiet, scenic countryside roads. While the ride requires moderate fitness, the transition from coastal plains to the peaceful, forested valley housing the ancient Champa ruins is deeply rewarding. Pick up time: 7:30 or 8:00 AM (local time)
You will meet your guide at your hotel in Hoi An. After that, go to our office by car or van, and there choose the most suitable mountain bike for you.

Cycling to My Son Sanctuary (distance: approximately 45km)
Start your journey by leaving Hoi An’s bustle for winding backroads that cut through vibrant, lush rice paddies. You will pedal past serene, non-touristy villages, offering a rare glimpse into the authentic rural life of Dai Loc and Duy Xuyen districts. This peaceful route keeps you away from heavy traffic as you transition from the coastal plains to the quiet, forested valley surrounding the ancient My Son Sanctuary.
Sightsee temples in My Son Sanctuary
Hidden away in the mountains, My Son Sanctuary is the holy land of Cham people who owned the Champa kingdom from the 2nd to 19th centuries. It has more than 70 buildings. The oldest one was constructed in the 4th century. Here, Shiva is the main deity. After the 14th century, My Son was abandoned and then invaded by forests. Have lunch with local specialty noodle
Our driver will take you to one of the most famous local restaurant on the way back to Hoi An and have a bowl of Mi Quang noodle there for lunch. It’s a signature Central Vietnamese noodle dish originating from Quảng Nam province, featuring wide, turmeric-infused rice noodles served with a small amount of flavorful broth, various protein toppings, fresh herbs, roasted peanuts, and crispy sesame rice crackers.

– Our driver & guide will pick you at your hotel in Da Nang city center (including Hai Chau District, Son Tra District except Nai Hien Dong ward & Tho Quang ward, Ngu Hanh Son District except Hoa Hai ward & Hoa Quy ward) or Hoi An city center.
– In the end of the tour, our driver & guide will drop you off at your hotel.
– Pickup surcharge is required to visitors staying NOT in Da Nang city center or Hoi An city center.
– All surcharges are payable in cash directly to your tour guide.
– No pick up & drop off service in Tan Hiep area of Hoi An (Cham Island).
– Children above 1,4 meters height OR 10 years old will be charged same to adults.
– Children from 1 to 1,4 meters height OR from 5 to 10 years old, will have a discount.
– Children under 5 years old OR 1 meter height, will be free of charge.

– Any cancellation within 24 hours or no-show: non-refundable.
