This private day tour shows you highlights on the most beautiful coast of Vietnam: Marble Mountains, Monkey Mountain, Hai Van Pass, and Lap An Lagoon. In the morning, climb the stairs to the top of a rocky mountain, sightsee holy temples and majestic caves. After that, visit Linh Ung Pagoda, the biggest Buddhist temple in the area. On a hilltop by the sea, it’s well known for 67-meters-tall Lady Buddha statue (one of Vietnam’s tallest Buddha statues), grand buildings, plenty of creative bonsai trees and marble sculptures. In the afternoon, drive up to the highest point of Hai Van Pass and admire great views from there. Before Hue city, stop at Lap An Lagoon which offers amazing landscapes and an interesting local farming culture.

Go through Hai Van Pass

Hai Van Pass is a spectacular coastal mountain road in Vietnam, famous for its breathtaking views where the towering mountains juts dramatically into the East Sea. Often called the “Ocean Cloud Pass,” it offers one of the country’s most iconic drives, linking Da Nang and Hue with twisting roads above the clouds and sea. See more details

You will stop at the top of Hai Van Pass (nearly 500m above sea level) and visit Hai Van Gate, an ancient stone fortification that once served as a critical defensive outpost on the most important trail across Vietnam. See more details

Lang Co Lagoon / Lang Co Bay

Lap An Lagoon is a serene brackish water lagoon near Lang Co Bay, famous for its picturesque landscape, vibrant aquaculture, and the iconic, winding road that skirts its edge, offering stunning views, especially at sunset. See more details

Here, visitors will have time to sightsee, photograph, have a coffee, and learn about local oyster and pearl farming.

Tomb of Khai Dinh

Khải Định Tomb, officially known as Ứng Lăng, is the final resting place of the Nguyễn Dynasty’s 12th Emperor, Khải Định, and is famously the most elaborate and expensive of the imperial tombs in Huế. Built between 1920 and 1931, the tomb is a remarkable fusion of Eastern and Western architectural styles, celebrated for its intricate details and dazzling use of colorful mosaic glass and porcelain embedded on the interior walls. Thuy Tien Lake (Abandoned water park)

Thuy Tien Lake is an abandoned water park near Hue, Vietnam, that has become a unique and haunting tourist destination, famous for its decaying infrastructure reclaimed by nature, particularly the iconic dragon structure. An Dinh Palace

An Dinh Palace is a significant early 20th-century architectural masterpiece in Huế, renowned for its striking and elegant blend of traditional Vietnamese royal design and European neoclassical styles. It served as the private residence for Emperor Khai Dinh and later became the main home for Emperor Bảo Đại, Empress Nam Phương, and the royal family after the fall of the Nguyen Dynasty. What to bring/wear

Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash.  To visit historical places, visitors should wear respectively. In other words, wear long pants to cover the upper knees, wear the shirt to cover shoulders, navel and armpits.
