Our driver and guide will pick up you at your hotel in Hoi An.

Day 1: Hoi An to Phong Nha via Hue

Morning: Go to Hue city and visit Hue Imperial City.

Serving as the official capital of Vietnam from 1802 to 1945 under the Nguyen Dynasty, Hue Imperial City acted as the absolute political, cultural, and religious heart of a unified Vietnamese empire. Its sprawling, fortified palace complex not only projected the absolute authority and architectural sophistication of the monarchy, but its later survival through intense wartime conflicts transformed it into an enduring symbol of national identity and cultural resilience. Have lunch at Vietnamese restaurant in Hue.

Afternoon: Go to Phong Nha and stop at the DMZ area (Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River, the 17th Parallel).

Established in 1954, the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) served as the tense, heavily fortified geopolitical border that split the nation into North and South Vietnam for over two decades. Though intended as a temporary buffer to prevent conflict, it instead became one of the most intensely combated and bombarded frontlines of the Vietnam War before reunification in 1975. Evening: Take a rest at your hotel in Phong Nha (you will book accommodation on your own).

Day 2: Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park

Morning: Phong Nha Cave boat trip

As a premier highlight of the UNESCO-listed national park, Phong Nha Cave is celebrated for its spectacular 7.7-kilometer underground river and massive, water-sculpted wet caverns. To explore its depths, travelers board traditional wooden boats to glide past towering karst entrances into cool, cathedral-like chambers filled with millions of years of geological history. Have lunch with Vietnamese food at Phong Nha town.

Afternoon: Paradise Cave

Renowned as one of the world’s most spectacular dry caverns, Paradise Cave stretches over 31 kilometers through the ancient limestone karst of Phong Nha-Ke Bang. Visitors can explore its colossal, cathedral-like interior along an elevated wooden walkway, which winds through cool, naturally ventilated chambers filled with towering, glittering stalactites and stalagmites.
