It played its role as hiding place and hospital for communist guerillas throughout the Vietnam War. The Marble Mountains comprises of hills that rise strikingly from the surrounding plain, giving it the nickname ‘Ha Long Bay on land’. The largest hill is the Water Mountain where you will hike to visit ancient Buddhist temples, amazing caves, stunning cave temples, craggy peaks with a pretty panoramic view. In the Monkey Mountain (Son Tra Mountain), will visit Linh Ung Pagoda, the biggest Buddhist temple in the area.
