The Marble Mountains
The Marble Mountains is a group of 5 mountains that rise suddenly from the surrounding plain, near the coast. Named after the elements of Five Elements, there are ‘water’, ‘fire’, ‘wood’, ‘earth’ and ‘metal’ mountains here. To see its sights, visitors need to climb many stairs. See more details
Here is the list of places which you will visit in the Marble Mountains:
– Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village: see lots of marble sculptures that vary in size, shape and color. Local people started carving stone to make them 300 years ago and now this long-standing tradition is a national intangible cultural heritage. See more details
– Linh Ung Pagoda: the most well-known Buddhist temple in the mountain. Built in the 19th century, it’s the oldest one in three famous pagodas of the same name in the area. See more details
– Huyen Khong Cave: the biggest cave in the mountain. Visitors will be amazed by fascinating beams of light falling from its ceiling and learn about local beliefs. See more details
– Tam Thai Pagoda: one of the holiest Buddhist temples in the area. It’s constructed in the 19th century by request of Minh Mang king whose father promised to build it many years before. See more details
Dragon Bridge (Cau Rong)
Visit one of the most famous and most unique bridges in Vietnam. Cross the Han River in Da Nang city center, it has a giant yellow steel dragon which weighs up to 9,000 tons, making it the heaviest steel dragon worldwide. Museum of Cham Sculpture
Visit the oldest and the most unique museum in Da Nang city. It’s established in 1919 by French archaeologists. Here, the largest collection of Champa stone sculptures in the world has been preserved, including fine art works collected from My Son Sanctuary. See more details
Have lunch in a Local Michelin-star Restaurant
Visit a long-standing and Michelin-star local restaurant that is located in a small alley amid the bustling Da Nang city center. Here, the family members make Banh Xeo, the crispy and tasty rice pancake (served with rice paper, raw vegetables and dipping sauce), Nem Lui (grilled pork skewers) and Bo Nuong La Lot (grilled pork wrapped in betel leaves). Have the chance to watch how the locals make the pancake and take photos.
Da Nang Cathedral

What to bring/wear
Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash.
For the Marble Mountains (a holy place), please wear respectively. The pants should cover the upper knees and the shirt should cover the armpits, navel, shoulders and chest. See more details
