This tour shows you the best caves of the Marble Mountains in Da Nang. The first one is Am Phu Cave (Hell Cave), the longest cave, where you will see large chambers, climb to the highest point and go down to the lowest point. Here, learn about local Buddhist culture and the role of the cave as the hiding place of communist guerillas during the Vietnam War. After that, hike to Linh Ung Pagoda and discover Tang Chon Cave behind it, where the remains of Hindu and Buddhist temples are seen. In the higher place, explore Van Thong Cave and find out the secret trail to a peak with a beautiful sweeping view. Continue climbing steep stairs to the summit of the Marble Mountains and enjoy watching natural sceneries in the surroundings. Next, visit Huyen Khong Cave, the largest cave. Learn about local traditional beliefs and customs as well as admire the dramatic light beams. Go to the best viewpoint near Tam Thai Pagoda to see all mountains and take pictures.

Non Nuoc Stone Carving Village

Around the foot of the Marble Mountains, this village has a tradition of stone carving that started 300 years ago. Here, visitors will see lots of marble items made by hand of local craftmen, from small accessories to huge Buddha statues. For a very long time, the locals use the stone taken from the Marble Mountains, each one providing the stone with a different color. See more details

Am Phu Cave (Hell Cave)

Explore the longest cave in the area. During the war, it served as the hiding place and field hospital for communist guerillas. While visiting, you will have the chance to learn about local Buddhist culture (the hell, the heaven, the death, karma, etc) as well as to hike down to the bottom or up to the top of the cave. Tang Chon Cave

Visit/photograph a group of caves with a small and secret entrance. Each cave here has one Buddha statue or remains of Hindu temple. There are numerous bats living in dark spots in the caves. See more details

Van Thong Cave

Between two rocky gates, in the highest terrace of the mountain, this cave has 2 chambers. The second one opens to the sky because of no ceiling. Here, visitors will find a secret hole which leads to a hidden trail to one of the highest peaks. See more details

'Heaven Gate'

Conquer and have a break at one of the highest peaks in the mountain. Here, visitors will see a pretty panoramic view to the Facific Ocean. The breeze blowing from there is extremely cool and fresh. See more details

Linh Nham Cave

Visit the cave in which local people worship the Jade Emperor. Its name means ‘the holy rock’ in Vietnamese. See more details

Thuong Thai Peak

Visit the highest point in the Marble Mountains. To get there, you will need to climb many steep stairs, requiring a good level of fitness. Here, at the elevation of 108 meters, the views to the sea and to the city are stunning. See more details

Huyen Khong Cave

Visit/photograph the biggest cave in the mountain. Its entrance is also a cave that is known as Hoa Nghiem Cave. If go in a sunny day, visitors will see amazing beams of light falling from the top of the cave, providing a perfect opportunity for taking pictures. Temples here honor Buddha, gods and goddesses. Vong Giang Dai (River Watching Pavilion)

Visit the best viewpoint in the Marble Mountains. Here, you will have a pretty view to all of five mountains in the area, and know about their names and special characteristics. Sure, have a great photo opportunity.

Return & Drop off

Go down the mountain by stairs to see the car/bus. In the city, our guide & driver will drop you off in your hotel.
