Pick up
Pick up time: 7:00-8:30 AM (local time, depending on hotel location)
Our driver and guide will pick up you at your hotel in Hoi An city center or on the way to Cua Dai Port (including areas of Minh An, Son Phong, Tan An, Cam Pho, Cam Chau, Cam An, Cua Dai, Tra Que Vegetable Village).
There is an extra fee to pick up at hotel in areas of Thanh Ha, Cam Ha, Cam Nam, Cam Kim and Cam Thanh.
Because this is a group tour, therefore our team will contact you 1 day in advance to confirm the pick up time.
Cua Dai Port
Located about 5 kilometers from Hoi An’s center, Cua Dai Port serves as the primary gateway for boats departing to the Cham Islands. See more details
Speed boat tour itinerary (1 snorkeling spot)
This is itinerary of Cham Island tour by speedboat:
– Speedboat ride: taking 20-25 minutes
– Walk around Bai Lang on Cham Island (the biggest fishing village) with guide:
(1) Museum of Cham Island Marine Park: learn about the marine biodiversity of Cham Islands and see the specimen of typical creatures. Find out the reasons why it’s inscribed to be world biosphere reserve by UNESCO. See more details
(2) Xom Cam Well: an ancient well that was constructed around 10th century by Cham people and still produces the fresh water for local inhabitants. Learn about local customs linking to this site. See more details
(3) Hai Tang Pagoda: the oldest Buddhist temple in Cham Islands where local fishermen and merchants come to pray for safety on the sea. It’s inscribed to be a national heritage by the Vietnamese government. See more details
*If don’t want to walk, consider taking a motorbike ride around the village (extra fee: 200,000 VND/person, paying by cash).
– Speedboat ride to Bai Ong Beach: one of the most beautiful beaches. Here, you will go to the restaurant first and then change clothes for snorkeling tour. If don’t want to go snorkeling, you can spend time with swimming or relaxing on nearby a sun chair. See more details
– Snorkeling spot (Hon Dai island): receive the snorkeling gear (free to use) and then explore the fascinating marine life of the islands on your own.

– Lunch: you will have lunch with fresh seafood and local dishes. Couples, families and groups will sit together with a private table and share the meal. Vegetarian lunch is available for group of 2 people and above. If do not want a pre-arranged set menu, you will have an a-la-carte menu to choose your own favorite food(s).
– Free time at the beach: after getting full, you can go swimming, join water activities (by your own expense) or just relax on the sun chair under shade of coconut trees.
*How much time do I have? Depending on the weather of the day, visitors have 30-60 mins to chill on Bai Ong Beach.
Wooden boat tour itinerary (2 snorkeling spots)
This is itinerary of Cham Island tour by wooden boat:
– Wooden boat ride: taking 1 hour
– First snorkeling spot: receive your own snorkeling gear to explore the marine life for an approximately 1 hour

– Have a break on board with water, coffee, tea or/and snacks
– Second snorkeling spot: receive your own snorkeling gear to explore the marine life for an approximately 1 hour

– Lunch: you will have lunch with fresh seafood and local dishes. Couples, families and groups will sit together with a private table and share the meal. – Relax on the beach
Speed boat or wooden boat tour?
Tour by speed boat will be shorter and cheaper than wooden boat one. It has a small walking tour in the biggest fishing village with several historical places.
Tour by wooden boat will be longer and more laid-back than speed boat one. It has two snorkeling spots instead of one only. Places in the itinerary are less popular/crowded.
Return & drop off
Go back to Cua Dai port by boat and then Hoi An by car/bus. In the end of the tour, you are dropped off in the hotel within Da Nang center or My Khe Beach or Non Nuoc Beach.

– Our driver & guide will pick you at your hotel in Da Nang city center (including Hai Chau District, Son Tra District except Nai Hien Dong ward & Tho Quang ward, Ngu Hanh Son District except Hoa Hai ward & Hoa Quy ward) or Hoi An city center.
– In the end of the tour, our driver & guide will drop you off at your hotel.
– Pickup surcharge is required to visitors staying NOT in Da Nang city center or Hoi An city center.
– All surcharges are payable in cash directly to your tour guide.
– No pick up & drop off service in Tan Hiep area of Hoi An (Cham Island).
– Children above 1,4 meters height OR 10 years old will be charged same to adults.
– Children from 1 to 1,4 meters height OR from 5 to 10 years old, will have a discount.

What to bring/wear
Visitors should wear comfortable walking shoes, hat/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain poncho/jacket (from October to January), cash.

A beautiful day on Cham island with snorkeling, beach, boat
We loved the trip to Cham island. The beaches were amazing. Awesome place to snorkel. The food was very good and there was a lot. Our guide Trang was really nice and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Her English was very good. It was a pity that we only stayed at the beach for just an hour. If you want to enjoy the island more you should definetly stay the night. Remember to bring sunscreen the sun is burning.
