Best Time to Visit Ha My Beach in Hoi An
The best time to visit Ha My Beach in the year is the dry season, from February to the end of August. In this period, the weather is beautiful, with lots of sun and no rain. For that reason, it’s a perfect time to sightsee, sunbathe, go swimming, take pictures, and play water sports.
The worst time of the year to visit Ha My Beach is the rainy season, from September to January. The weather in these months is mostly rainy and cloudy, so it’s not really great to head over to the beach. Between October and December/January, typhoons may hit the area, causing very strong winds and waves as well as heavy rains and floods.

Where is Ha My Beach in Hoi An?
Ha My Beach is a 1-kilometer-long sandy beach in Dien Duong area, close to Hoi An. It has private areas lying within seaside resorts/hotels, and a public area. If just want to visit for swimming, sightseeing and relaxing, visitors need to go to the public part of this beach. It’s the stretch of coastline between Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai and Le Belhamy Hoi An Resort & Spa.

Ha My Beach is one of the best beaches to go swimming in Hoi An Vietnam. This beach is about 1 kilometer long, and famous for an unspoiled stretch of soft sand by crystal clear and not deep water. Waves here are not strong throughout the dry season. The view to mountains and islands of Cham Islands is just stunning. Within hotel/resort, sure it’s easy to find sun loungers or hammocks to lie down and relax. In the public part of Ha My Beach (between Four Seasons Resort and Le Belhamy Resort), venues near Four Seasons Resort will have and it’s free if visitors take something from the menu. Compared to other famous beaches in Hoi An – An Bang Beach and Cua Dai Beach, it’s much more peaceful here.
About water sports, visitors can not find in the public part of Ha My Beach. Within seaside resorts, jet skiing, parasailing, standup paddle boarding, flyboard flying, kayaking,… are available for their guests. Please check the availability and prices at your hotel/resort during the stay. If you don’t book a hotel, let’s go to An Bang Beach that is not too far away from Ha My Beach. – During the dry season, from February to the end of August, visitors should bring sun cream, sun glasses, swimsuit, bottles of water or may be towel, books. If forget or don’t have, there is a shop at the entrance of Ha My Beach to buy.

How to Get to Ha My Beach in Hoi An
Ha My Beach is located in Dien Duong ward, Dien Ban town, Quang Nam province. It’s 6,5 kilometers away from Hoi An city center (Hoi An Old Town), on the way to Da Nang city and Da Nang International Airport.
To get to Ha My Beach from Hoi An, just take a taxi or ride the motorbike. Go to this point on Google maps (15°55’25.1″N 108°19’15.5″E) – the crossroad of Lac Long Quan Street and the road leading to the public part of Ha My Beach. Turn right, go straight until the end to see the beach. Unfortunately, nothing here because tourists often visit nearby An Bang Beach because it’s closer to Hoi An. If looking for sun loungers, foods and beverages, let’s find the road in the front of The Seaside Bungalow or The Natural Bungalow (hotels) and then go to its end.
From Da Nang, the distance to Ha My Beach in Hoi An is some 30 kilometers. Visitors often go to this beach by car or motorbike. No matter which vehicle, we suggest visiting other places in Hoi An within the same day for convenience (such as Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An Memories Land Theme Park, Cam Thanh Coconut Village, Tra Que Vegetable Village, Thanh Ha Pottery Village, Vinwonders Nam Hoi An Theme Park,…). The best motorbike route is the coastal road Vo Nguyen Giap Street and then go southwards until seeing Four Seasons Resort (left hand side) and then find the road to Ha My Beach (left hand side).
