Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge is the largest surviving bamboo bridge in Hoi An area. It’s located in a rural village named Cam Dong in the western countryside of Hoi An. This is a 120-meters-long and 1-meter-wide bridge spanning a small river (which flows into the Thu Bon River). It’s made by bamboo stems by residents living in the nearby villages to allow them to reach their gardens and farms. In the early morning or afternoon when it’s not too hot, visitors have the chance to see them walking across it. In addition, Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge is tall enough to allow small wooden boats to go under.

How to Get to Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge
Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge is located in a small rural village, about 12 kilometers west of Hoi An city center.
From Hoi An, visitors should have a private transfer by car or ride the motorbike. The best bike route is Hung Vuong Road + DT 608 Road to Vinh Dien town. From this town, it’s needed to follow small cement paths through villages and rice fields to see Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge.
From Da Nang, the distance to Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge from the center of Da Nang is some 26 kilometers. Visitors can have a private transfer by car or ride the motorbike. The fastest bike route is the QL 1A highway (towards the south) to Vinh Dien town. From this town, it’s needed to follow small cement paths through villages and rice fields to see Cam Dong Bamboo Bridge.
